Toachievethegoaloftheproject,WorldVisionInternational,asubgrantee,supportsCASTprojectinfivemainactivities,including:
1. Creatingsanitaryandphytosanitarystandards(SPS):theprojectworkswithpublicandprivatepartners toestablishanddevelop(SPS)qualitystandardsthroughoutthevaluechain.
2. Providingbusinessdevelopmentservices(BDS)tomarketactors:tostrengthenbusinessmanagement practiceamongsmallandmediumenterprises(SMEs)ininnovation,financialmanagement,accounting, marketingandsales. 3. ImprovingmarketingandbrandingofCambodian-raisedfish:campaigns,networkingevents,and promotionalmaterialswillbeorganisedtopromotespecificspeciesoffishinCambodia. 4. Facilitatingatraceabilitysystemfordomesticaquaculturetocommercialisehigh-valuefishproductin localandinternationalmarkets:theprojectwillpartnerwiththeprivatesectorstopilotatraceability systemtotracktheflowoffishfromtheinputprovideruptotheendconsumer.
5. Providingtechnicalassistanceloansandgrantstohelplocalfinanceactorstoovercome existing barriers:facilitatingfarmersaccesstocapitalforsmallandmediumenterprisestoexpand smallbusinesses.
