Begin each day with an uplifting and motivational keynote. Then break into grade-level small cohort groups to:

• Observe as a CCSS expert models how to take a standard through the 5 steps.

• Take standards through the steps yourself—with expert coaching.

• Record everything you learn in your Action Planner.

• Share your experience and collect tips and ideas from other group members.

Common Core State Standards for Mathematics

Get the day underway with an insightful and entertaining keynote from author and math educator Greg Tang.

Continue in your cohort groups as you build the skill and confidence to take individual Mathematics standards through the 5-step process.

Cap off the Academy at the end of day 3 with an eye-opening keynote on sustaining the learning, delivered by teacher-favorite Lori Elliott.
