Moved by Mr. Rentschler, that Hoard requests Council for per­mission to buy in open market season's supply of sand, gravel, (.ement, calcium chloride, tarvia, road oi., bricks, survey stakes, fcewer pipe and other necessary ma­terials for routine work.

Moved by Aid. Lucas, tha t re­quest be granted and Board au­thorized to buy in open market or receive bids as they deem ad­visable.
