Now this is not the end.
It is not even the beginning of the end.
But it is, perhaps, the end of the beginning. Sir Winston Churchill, Speech in November 1942

Extensions to GeneratingUnit
SOURCE Class/Attribute/Association Comments
CIM GeneratingUnit A single or set of synchronous machines for converting mechanical power into alternating-current power. For example, individual machines within a set may be defined for scheduling purposes while a single control signal is derived for the set. In this case there would be a GeneratingUnit for each member of the set and an additional GeneratingUnit corresponding to the set.
EXT GeneratingUnit.kind Generating unit kind (wind, solar, thermal, hydro, biogas, biomass, cogeneration, household waste).
CIM GeneratingUnit→SynchronousMachine Association with the synchronous machines of the generating unit.
EXT GeneratingUnit→AsynchronousMachine Association with the asynchronous machines of the generating unit.
EXT GeneratingUnit→StaticMachine Association with the static machines of the generating unit.
