We are happy to give Carlton Construction our highest recommendation.

Kevin Carlton was recommended by friends when we were seeking a

builder in 2012. We were placed on Kevin’s waiting list; construction began

in June 2013 and was completed in May 2014. Kevin and his expert team

built both our barn house and our pole barn. We couldn’t be more pleased

with the results.

We wanted to build an energy efficient home and Kevin gave us guidance

as we went along to make this happen. Our barn house was somewhat

"out of the box" so inevitably changes were required as we went along. We

would discuss these changes with Kevin and ask him “What would he do”?

Nine times out of ten we followed his expert advice. He never rushed us to

make a decision giving us ample time to mull it over.

Kevin chose subcontractors that we came to trust and respect, and he

negotiated tirelessly on our behalf to keep their cost low. The "buck always

stopped with Kevin" and we only had to mention any subcontractor

concerns once to have him immediately take charge and resolve the issue.

As with all of his projects, Kevin and his team were on the construction site

daily and oversaw all facets of the building.

The process of building a new home can be daunting, but Carlton

Construction did something almost impossible – they made it a fun

experience! The professionalism, honesty, creativeness, and excellent

communication throughout construction have us on Kevin’s waiting list

again for our next building project!
