Local chapters need to identity staffers willing or able to adapt to new ways of doing their work.

Third party stories were the goal.

Media professionals must adapt and learn to tell their organization’s stories.

Today’s media pro can write, take photos, shoot a video, edit and post on the Web, and deploy social media networks to broadcast a story without third party support.

Blogs, interactive websites, and social media allow stories to ripple out like a pebble thrown in a pond.

Mainstream media is desperate for content. Give it to them on a silver platter.
