Kate Edwards, Vice President of Communications and Marketingfor Burnam Gray brings 12 years of experience working in thenonprofit sector and four years in the nonprofit consulting field.She specializes in strategic communications and marketing fornonprofit organizations.

Prior to her consulting role, Kate worked for a nonprofit servingpeople with disabilities. She has worn many hats including:nonprofit marketing, public relations, grant writing, Boardrelations, event planning, social and digital media, and annual fundand donor development. She then served as Director of Marketingand Communications for the San Antonio Area Foundation.

She has developed comprehensive communications and marketingplans, and developed, created, and managed externalcommunications. Kate brings extensive public relations and mediarelations experience. She is passionate about storytelling and hownonprofits can weave this important strategy into theircommunciations. Kate is a native Texan living in her hometown ofSan Antonio with her husband and three children. She has aBachelor of Arts in Journalism and Public Relations, with aBusiness Administration and Marketing Minor from BaylorUniversity.
