WASTE COLLECTIONA 3 bin kerbside recycling service is provided in township areas and a 2 bin recycling services in other rural living areas. This service includes a weekly general waste collection, fortnightly recyclables collection and alternate fortnightly green organics collection. Residents are reminded of their responsibility in caring for the bins through proper storage and returning them to your property promptly after collection. Leave your bin for collection with the handles away from the road before 6am on the day of collection. Council cannot take responsibility for loss or damages where bins have been left in the street after collection day or used for other than normal garbage purposes. Segregated waste can be disposed of by ratepayers and residents of Wattle Range Council using a voucher. A rates notice or driver’s license will be required to access the service. Vouchers are posted with rates notices each year. Non-segregated waste will not be accepted. E-Waste Collection Services operate at all waste facilities. Waste Oil can be disposed of at Council’s Resource Recovery Centres located at Millicent and Penola. Green Waste is accepted at Millicent, Penola and Beachport.
