OVERVIEW Community Renewable Energy Solutions, LLCproposes to facilitate the planning andcreation of a local renewable energycollaborative LREC and the developmentof central renewable energy generationsystems CREGS - in the community for thesale of renewable distributed electricity www.cressolarenergy.com 3. ASSEMBLY NO. 2502 This Bill establishes New Jersey PropertyAssessment Clean Energy (NJ PACE) MunicipalFinancing Program. A-2502 provides at financing tool for municipalitieswho wish to facilitate the purchase of solar energysystems by homeowners, or groups of propertyowners acting jointly to share the costs and benefitsof such improvements.www.cressolarenergy.com 4. ASSEMBLY 2502 To implement the program, the New JerseyEconomic Development Authority shallestablish low-cost sources of financing, suchas qualified energy conservation bonds andinvestment from private capital sources, toprovide funding for the purchase of solarenergy systems to interested municipalities.www.cressolarenergy.com 5. ASSEMBLY 2502 This Bill makes energy services moreaffordable for low and moderate incomeratepayers; promotes the lowest cost forenergy for all ratepayers; provides anopportunity for all market segments toparticipate. www.cressolarenergy.com 6. FACILITATION/SCOPE OF WORK Community RenewableEnergy Solutions proposes towork with the TownshipResidents to:1. Conduct feasibility study2. Identify resident participants and public sites3. Work with Township Council to develop a local governmentrenewable energy entity (LGREG entity)4. Work with the BPU and PSE&G to license community systemwww.cressolarenergy.com 7. FACILITATION/SCOPE OF WORK SCOPE OF WORK 5. Review financial options such as fee-in-tariffs, property assessment clean energy (NJ PACE) program, tax free energy bonds private investors etc. 6. HOW DOES AN LREC IMPACT LOCAL ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT 1. Community owned,the cost of electric tomembers is controlledand all profits stay inthe community to theshareholders. 2. Adding 25MW of distributed electricity(solar) in our community during peak day timedemand will support the utility company inthe area of demand side management. 2. A partnership with our solar serviceprovider, the BPU, PSE&G and the New JerseyEconomic Development Authority will assurethe funding in some form to be determinedafter a funding study is made. Smart grid development. The rooftop solarinstallation will be net-metered whichrequires a smart meter installation.
