Many customers are looking for more than machined parts from their precision engineering service providers.

Today, markets demand a streamlined supply chain. There must be fewer suppliers, who take on more responsibility and solve a greater number of problems. They must be prepared to take on projects, manage them to completion, and deliver. Suppliers must be more than just service providers, they must be solutions providers.

Firstly, we offer unparalleled flexibility in sourcing and machining a wide range of raw materials, meeting your prototype or production volume requirements, and offering innovative supply arrangements. We complement this with in-house mechanical assembly facilities.

Secondly, we provide complete solutions which marry our expertise in precision machining with the offerings of industry leaders in the allied areas of:

castings, forgings and fabrications mechanical and electrical assembly surface treatment (e.g. plating, painting, alodining,

anodizing, water-proofing), and heat treatment and specialised testing.

Should your project require technical services of a different nature, we welcome your approach and the opportunity to form a new relationship with a supplier of choice.

The relationships we have established with both local and offshore suppliers allow us to extend our services to a global audience, and give us the flexibility to truly address our customers’ unique requirements.

The integration of value-added services into our offering differentiates Lovitt Technologies Australia from other precision engineering houses. Having established our ability through aerospace and defence contracts, a project management team is ready to assist commercial customers with future requirements in this area.

Lovitt Technologies Australia is one of Australia’s largest independent precision engineering facilities. From our beginnings in 1954, as a tool maker to the automotive industry, we have progressed to the forefront of machining for aerospace, defence and communications.

Our skills have assisted customers in a range of other markets, including:

medical & scientific plastics & packaging food & beverage mining & energy petrochemical automotive, and security.

To support our growth into advanced markets, we have undertaken progressive capital acquisition and technological development. Our high-speed machining centres include 5-axis horizontal and vertical mills, 4-axis double-column mills and 7-axis lathes. We support the MasterCam™, Vericut™, Catia™ v5, and Pro Eng CAM applications.

During the past 50 years, precision engineering has evolved from the domain of meticulous craftsmen to computer-controlled machines. Lovitt Technologies Australia has recognised these and other significant trends in the industry, and has continuously adjusted its approach and adapted its offerings to suit customers’ changing needs.

Today, customers demand more than just machined components and ‘standard’ production runs. They look for a service provider who can address the unique requirements their current project presents: in materials, machining, assembly, volumes and supply arrangements. They demand flexibility.

Lovitt Technologies Australia stands apart in its ability to go beyond its core precision engineering capabilities. Furthermore, we partner with leading suppliers in allied industries – such as surface treating, electrical cabling and specialised testing – to present a component or assembly finished to the highest of international standards.
