We Are Here to Help.Below are some frequently asked questions to help get you started.
What has changed from your 2015 offering?Employers have expressed a need for acomprehensive end‐to‐end ACA solution thatincludes services such as electronic IRS filing and1095 fulfillment/mailing options. Selerix nowoffers the option to add these additional services toyour current ACA package. Our option‐basedpricing allows you to simply select the services yourequire and ensure your organization is on its way toACA compliance.

What tasks will I (the employer) beresponsible for throughout the year?
With increased penalties and tightened standards for2016 ACA reporting, it is crucial that employers remaininvolved in the ACA process throughout the calendaryear. While your ACA manager will assist with the setupof your ACA tool and reports, it is the employer'sresponsibility to manage, analyze, and approve eligibilitychanges identified in the Lookback reporting process.Employers will also need to identify the necessary ACAparameters (measurement/stability/admin periods, transition relief and EIN structure) and communicatethose parameters to their ACA manager. Employers willalso need to review and approve all IRS forms prior toemployee mailing (if elected) and electronic filing (ifelected).
How are these services/charges calculated?IRS form Generation and Filing: The fee is charged based on the number of forms thatwill need to be generated & filed –all full time medicaleligible employees loaded in the system. In someinstances, Employers may choose to offer medicalbenefits to PT employees averaging less than the 30Hour ACA threshold. If the employer chooses togenerate/file 1095 forms for these PT employees, they will be counted and charged based on the same(Per Form Charge) structure.
Lookback Monitoring: Tracking whether part‐time employees should beoffered medical coverage when they average morethan 30 hours/week during the employer’sMeasurement Period and maintain coverage after theStability Period is completed is an employercompliance requirement. If an employer hasalternative method to track this they are not requiredto use the Selerix ACA Lookback Reporting capability. This is an optional service for Selerix offers.
Employee 1095‐C Mailing:Employers are required to provide a 1095‐C tomedically eligible employee before January 31, 2017for calendar year 2016. Fulfillment of the printing andmailing of forms is another optional service Selerixprovides for 2016. For employer who have securedthe proper employee permission electronicdistribution is also an alternative.
How and when will you bill me?
ACA services are based on a calendar yearcommitment; billing is executed within the calendaryear that services are rendered. Billing invoices forACA services will be issued quarterly in advance. Forclients who elect Lookback reporting, a true‐upprocess will be performed at the end of the year. Thetrue‐up process accounts for any variance inemployee count throughout the course of the year.
