What is IRRInet?

The IRRInet, made by Motorola, is a cutting-edge yet

simple tool that centrally and remotely manages

water and irrigation applications and makes control

tasks exact, efficient and economical

Accuracy: The IRRInet monitors and operates

remote sites in a timely and precise manner

3

What is IRRInet?

Water and Energy Saving: Activating pumps and

valves only when required and scheduled

Time Saving: Eliminating the need to visit each site

for inspection, data collection/logging or make

adjustments

Tasks are achieved automatically and manually

Data: Transmitted to a central PC and could be

dispatched to mobile devices

9

Advanced Communication Protocol (MDLC*)

Reliable Communication: Data acknowledgement via any

number of communication nodes

Remote Diagnostics: Remote HW and SW diagnostics

Remote Programming: Remote upload and download of programs and parameters

Network Communication: Viewing and operating field units from any point in the network

*MDLC: Motorola Data Link Communication

10

Store & Forward Application

Store & Forward feature is utilized to pass information from IRRInet to IRRInet through

the system

IRRInet allows radio communication between IRRInet-to-Central and

IRRInet-to-IRRInet, using existing units as nodes in the network

(cost effective communication)
