AdvoFin Prozessfinanzierung AGVersion: 2019
AdvoFin is one of Europe’s leading litigation
funders
• Founded in 2001 as an Austrian litigation funding company based in Vienna, and financed by
independent, financially-sound institutional investors.
• AdvoFin has more than 18 years of experience in financing lawsuits, and continues to draw on
that experience and build on its history of success.
• We are proud of our strong, successful business, backed by an ownership structure that has
remained stable for 18 years, and by an employee and management team that have stayed
constant for many years as well.
• We see our clients as partners. Your success is our success!

We’re stronger together. That’s how our business
works, and it’s how our clients benefit.
• As a litigation funder, AdvoFin first reviews each case, then concludes a litigation funding agreement if
the result is positive. With the agreement in place, AdvoFin takes over all legal expenses required to
assert your claims in or out of court, and receives a share of the payment as compensation (only) if the
lawsuit succeeds.
• By bundling claims together, it is also possible to seek smaller individual compensation amounts that
the litigants would otherwise be unable or unwilling to pursue due to the high cost of litigation.
• Besides financing the lawsuit, AdvoFin also helps with structuring the case, in cooperation with your
trusted lawyer who is in charge of the lawsuit, while handling administrative matters and ongoing
contact with the clients too.
• We keep our clients continuously informed of how our lawsuits are progressing. As a general rule,
participating in one of our collective lawsuits involves minimal effort for our clients, since AdvoFin
takes care of all aspects of pursuing their claims (preparing data, preparing the lawsuit, communicating
with the lawyer, appointing expert witnesses, etc.).
• Working independently and with different lawyers is AdvoFin’s guiding business principle. AdvoFin
makes its own decision when it comes to offers of financing, and is not influenced by powerful legal
adversaries or case-related pressures.
