Our belief that perfumes should be cherished and kept preciously, drives our enterprise. Fragrances are
personal and each individual desires a unique scent. Our brands are distributed in limited quantities
worldwide. This preserves the brand image. These fragrances are acquired by the most discerning
patrons and the opportunity to market our brands to the Canadians who appreciate “haute parfumerie”
is our ambition.
The company buys fragrances from the brand manufacturers located in different parts of the world,
consolidates them in warehouses in Paris and Dubai, ship and store them in our warehouse in Toronto.
This enables us to supply our customers with fine, rare perfumes within a few days from the date they
submit their orders. Canada-wide distribution allow our customers to focus on their core competencies;
that’s why the company sells to customers across Canada using expedited courier service to assure
orders are fulfilled in a timely manner.

Amouage perfumes are developed according to Christopher Chong’s inspirational brief and formulated

Amouage’s fine fragrance portfolio comprised of 37 fragrances. The brand has also introduced a new
stratum of creativity in its finely crafted Library Collection with nine oeuvres, each one a numbered Opus
or work of art. Amouage has a bath and body collection comprising many of the main line fragrances,
with soap, hand creams, shower gels, body creams and body lotions. A Home Collection of candles and
perfumes d’ambience, both in the fine fragrances and other fragrances created specifically for the Home
Collection, was also launched some time ago.
Today Amouage has a total of 15 standalone shops across London, Rome, Kuala Lumpur, Dubai, Abu

New presentations have helped make access to the brand easier, after pioneer work with crystal and bisque opened the way. Behind the MDCI name is a small team with a passion for perfumes and a certain idea of what fine fragrances should be an art more than an industry, a source of pleasure, pride and beauty more than a commodity. It is a fascinating period of history, a pivotal times of western civilization which has guided the brand’s inspiration: the Renaissance, the admirable traces of which - old buildings, sculptures, fountains, gardens…- are as many stages in MDCI’s preferred walks through Paris, from the old Marais district to the Louvre and the Gardens of Luxembourg, the beautiful palace built for Catherine of Medicis

rock-crystal vases, the Greek and Roman antiques in the collections of the Medicis, Cardinal Mazzarin's

Since the beginning of 1600s the Rancé family became famous for producing perfumed gloves for the French Aristocracy in Grasse (France). In 1795 François Rancé turned entirely to perfumery. His innovative spirit led him to create extremely refined and modern perfumes, which secured him the favour of Napoleon. He became the Empereur's favourite perfumer, and created for him "Le Vainqueur", "Triomphe" and "L'Eau de Austerliz". In honour of Josephine Bonaparte he created "l'Impératrice" which he presented to the Empress in a precious Sevres porcelain box. The last example of this precious porcelain objet d'art is kept in the Rancé archives. Several generations of Rancé have followed. At the end of 1800s Alexandre Rancé moved to Milan; his
place at the head of the family firm is held today by his granddaughter Jeanne Sandra Rancé with her
son Jean Maurice Alexandre Rancé.

The XVIIIth Century was the indisputed reign of King Louis the XV. France was the flagship of fragrances,
with Grasse and Paris as its leading places. Every day, the king requested a different scent for his
apartments and streams of aromatic scents sprang from the royal fountains. Renowned for its scent
extravagances, the court was named “la cour parfumée” (the perfumed court). The best fragrances of all
time were invented during this era by the king’s dedicated perfumer ‘Jean Fargeon’. The King decided to
give to Marly castle, built by Louis the XIV, more importance by dedicating it for the well-being of the
horse. As a fervent admirer of horses, Louis XV always tried to enhance horse qualities by cross breeding
them. He was offered 8 Arabian horses by the King of Tunisia, ‘Bey de Tunis’.
Among them are the Darley Arabian, Godolphin Arabian and the Byerley Turk. Those horses were the
base of thoroughbred Arabian breed mixed with the strong and tall European breed. In 1743, in memory
of his great-grandfather Louis XIV, Louis XV commissioned Guillaume Coustou to sculpt his famous
masterpiece for the grounds of the Château de Marly (Marly Castle). This magnificent work of art,
known as “The Marly Horses”, earned a place on the Champs Elysees Avenue in the heart of Paris in
1974, where it can still be admired today.
The originals are conserved in Louvre Museum in a old court, named la Cour Marly (Marly court).
Parfums de Marly revives the spirit of lavish receptions and festivities held in the Château de Marly, for
the delight of members of the Royal Court and foreign dignitaries. Through its original concept, Parfums
de Marly rekindles the spirit of fragrances from the splendour of the XVIIIth Century, when the finest
perfumes were created for King Louis XV as a tribute of the prestigious horse races he so fervently
admired.

The archives of the Palace of Versailles, the principal residence of French kings from the time of Louis
XIV to Louis XVI, retain a series of fragrance formulas developed in the 17th and 18th centuries by the
