Our company history dates back over four generations but its essence is captured in one word: quality. Today, Ladisa is an organisation of distinction in the catering industry. From its original keen enthusiasm shared over the stoves of a traditional Bari trattoria, the company has developed into an established business with branches throughout Italy. The core business of Ladisa is catering services for schools, hospitals, public institutions, ministries, and private companies. However, the company is also recognised for its other sectors such as the supply of high quality foodstuffs, commercial catering and banqueting and the production of ready-made meals, as well as the planning and construction of industrial kitchens and global service assistance. The company also invests in technology, innovation and training and today ranks as one of the top twelve firms operating in the field.

Currently Ladisa manages 18 production plants serving over 750 facilities throughout South, Central and North Italy. The Headquarter is, in Bari, and there are other offices in Rome, Genoa, Turin, Pordenone, Matera, Chieti and Foggia.

Quality is the keyword for a company intent on growth. Quality in our choice of suppliers, quality of products, quality in services provided and quality in customer satisfaction. This is Ladisa’s calling card. We believe that quality also means respect: for the environment, for others and for the world around us. This also means building a business model that constantly invests in its real assets: the staff, who contribute to the growth of the company every day of the year.

Working with a carefully-selected team of chefs, maîtres, dessert decorators, confectioners and sommeliers, Ladisa can organise corporate coee breaks, working breakfasts, company events and institutional ceremonies.

Banqueting services

The company is characterised by its use of products which are organic, short supply chain, PDO (protected denomination of origin) and PGI (protected geographical indication). Our selection of organic producers who do not use pesticides or artificial fertiliser is part of our environmental mission and is complemented by our choice of D.o.p and I.p.g products to safeguard both regional identity and short supply chains, thus reducing the number of stages in foodstuff supply.

Using an established network of suppliers and logistics with platforms in different regions of Italy, we can supply foodstuffs and non-food products to both private and public companies within 24 hours.

The company uses a logistics network which extends throughout Italy. It is based on a series of certified logistics platforms which guarantee efficiency, food safety and management control, with warehouses of over 1,000 m² handling tens of thousands of items. Such a high level of organisation allows us to continuously provide stock and renew provisions in a matter of hours.

CSB is a specialised management software tool which allows us to check all movements of food products in real time, from the moment they enter the company production cycle (stock provision) until the final phase of meal preparation. It is also allows us to plan our supplies, so reducing transportation and helping to protect the environment.

Our strength

Our business plan for the period 2016-2020 sets out an investment of over €40 million to establish new platforms, meal preparation centres and merger and acquisition ventures as well as for the creation of an innovative research program with CNR on Food Safety. In addition to consolidating our business in the North of Italy, these current lines of investment aim towards the development of innovative internationalisation projects, targeted at new market niches in Europe and overseas for “che Bontà” brand the line of ready-made meals.

Ladisa contributes to charity initiatives promoted by public administration bodies and individuals. In collaboration with local parishes and associations, we distribute free meals to the needy within the guidelines for donations set out by the Italian Good Samaritan Law. We also use products grown on land confiscated from organised crime groups, following an agreement with the Apulia Free Territory Association.

One of the company’s keys strength is its continuous exchange of views with customers: we constantly try to offer a better, higher quality service. This is why we listen to our customers’ opinions every day through our dedicated communication channels. Customer comments are collected from our direct phone lines or e-mail address ([email protected]) or through our company website and social network pages.

Ladisa understands the importance of our customers’ active participation in the company. As a result, we regularly hold Open Days at our meal preparation centres, opening the doors of our production plants to all those who wish to see how meals are prepared. These events are open to parents, school pupils, teachers, public administration staff and members of the public and allow all the participants to understand the level of quality in our production processes.

In collaboration with customers, the company regularly monitors the performance of each of its services through questionnaires. The results of these surveys are then published online on website pages dedicated to customers. An analysis of our customer satisfaction can also be carried out online through a specific web page.
