Alam-Con Sdn Bhd is the latest local company involves
in the manufacturing of Autoclaved Aerated Concrete
(AAC). It’s manufacturing plant is located in Kawasan
Perindustrian Bukit Rambai, Melaka and commenced
its first production in early January 2012.
The Factory, which is on a 5.92 acres land, will have an
initial capacity to produce 80,000 cubic metres of AAC
Blocks annually; with capability for future expansion.
Current workforce is 50 persons.
Autoclaved Aerated Concrete (AAC) and also known as
Autoclaved Lightweight Concrete, (ALC), is gaining its
popularity in the building and construction industries in
Malaysia. The finished product is only one fifth the
weight of regular concrete and has good insulation,
acoustic and fire resistance properties. Alam-Con AAC
is designed for walls applications and is available in
various sizes for different requirements.
The products manufactured are blocks with sizes
ranging from 600 x 200 x 100, 600 x 200 x 125,
600 x 200 x 150, 600 x 200 x 175 and 600 x 200 x 200.
The target market includes individual houses, link
houses and condominiums in the medium to high cost
area, low rise commercial projects such as hotels,
shoplot and offices, shopping complex, schools,
hospitals and industrial buildings. Alam-Con blocks are
known under the brand name, ACON.
The range of products offers a high technology solution
to the traditional way of construction method.

know as a Green Label Products. ACON (AAC) is not
only increased the speed of installation which means
less manpower is needed on site but also the products
are dimensionally accurate, reduce wastage and a
better and cleaner working environment on site.

ACON THIN BED ADHESIVE is a high quality water resistant premixed mortar For the laying of Autoclaved Lightweight Concrete (ALC) Blocks. It is Specially formulated for filling of vertical and horizontal joint for ALC wall system. USES Masonry for ALC Blocks. FEATURES AND BENEFITS Fire reisstance of over 260 minutes at 1,300 °C Shrinkage compensated : reduce the chance of shrinkage cracks. Single component : fixed mixing proportion, ensure the quality of work. Thin layer application : less consumption of mortar. Good levelling of wall : prevent descend of blocks. High water resistance.
Premixed cement-based render for external ALC Walls. ACON ALC RENDER is a high quality cement-based render specially developed for application on external ALC wall surfaces. ACON ALC RENDER can also be used for patching works on ALC walls prior to rendering. It is intended to replace conventional cement-sand render. Rendered surface can be sponge-finished. Various finished can be applied on the rendered wall. USES External ALC wall surfaces wall rendering. Suitable for patching works on ALC walls prior to rendering. FEATURES AND BENEFITS Single component : fixed mixing proportion, ensure the quantity of work. Shrinkage compensated : reduce the chance of shrinkage cracks. Compatible to cementitious ACON WATERPROOFING series products Suitable for tiling with receiving TILE ADHESIVE and TILE GROUT series products. Premixed Thin Cement-Based Finishing Plaster for wall and ceiling in dry or wet interior and exterior. FINISH is high quality water resistant cement-based thin plaster for finishing walls and ceilings. FINISH can be used on EASI BASE, BLOCK PLASTER, concrete and rendered surfaces. A harden plastered surface can be painted or wall-papered. Ceramic tiles can be fixed on the FINISH surface. FINISH should not be used on painted surfaces. USES Interior and exterior finishing skim coat for wall and ceiling. To be applied on RENDER series products or cement-sand render. Usage on painted surfaces is not recommended. FEATURES AND BENEFITS`` Single componenet : fixed mixing proportion, ensure the qulity of work. High workability. High water resistance. Extra smooth finishing. Harden plastered surfaces can be apinted or wall –papered. Compatible to cementitious RENDER series products.

BLOCK PLASTER is high qulity water reistant premixed plaster intended for thin plastering and levelling of Autoclaved Lightweight Concrete (ALC) block wall, plastered or rendered wall or hollow concrete block wall. BLOCK PLASTER can also be used for general filling up and patching. Wall surface that has been levelled with BLOCK PLASTER can be 6smoothENED WITH finish and painted or wall-papered.
