SPECIALIZED for MARINE SERVICES, was established on year 2015 with the Ministry

of Trade of Iraq with C.R. No. 20-000000705 and headquartered in Basra City, Iraq. We

have the “Permit to Operate” in the field of Marine Services, Marine & Cargo Surveys,

Freight Forwarding, Heavy Lift Transportation, Customs Clearance, and Warehousing

granted/accredited by the Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Oil, and Ministry of Transportation

& Iraqi Ports Authority.

We also had the operations office inside the port of Umm Qasr, located at Shed No. 19.

Cargo surveys and inspection service

When cargo is found damaged, it is necessary to establish the extent of damage and to

detect its origin to enable a claim for the loss under the existing insurance cover.

Open Hatch, Discharging and Storage Survey/ Transport Supervision

Full inspection for all cargo before discharging. Determine the stowage plan and if any shifting

Cargo Inspection

General cargo and containers Loading / Unloading inspection & Container Stuffing Survey.

Specialized Marine Survey presently provides control and supervision of cargo operation as

follows:

• Loading & discharge of the vessel and barge.

• Stuffing & unstuffing of containers.

We employ specially trained staff who are equipped with modern equipment and who can

act to stringent requirements in ensuring the safe shipment of products.

Inspection of Lashing and Securing

We conduct lashing and securing inspection (outer / visual) and advise / recommend in

adequate lashing arrangements providing a safe transport

On-Hire/Off Hire, Bunker, ROB and Draft Surveys

Our attending surveyors will carry out accurate draft surveys and recommend

procedures and formulas to be followed. The accurate measurement of dry bulk

cargoes can minimize significantly the risk of claims due to shortages. Full bunker

surveys in accordance with latest ASTM Standards, including bunker samples if

necessary and consumption analysis report.

Handling-of-Insurance - P&I

In the event of incidents, we investigate as professional inspector and analyze the main

reason and /or the vessel owner to acknowledge the damage condition to ensure the

insured /consignee’s rights were preserved.

Preload and Loading Survey

type of cargo quantity . Documents identifying we collect ship particulars , last test of hatch

cover , class certificate and documents , previous cargos , Dunnage and lashing materials

Full Cargo Tally Service

To verify the compliance of cargo to the shipping documents or to perform an independent

tally or cargo survey .

Our local experts shall carry out the recounting, inspection and photographing of the goods

and if necessary shall perform the expert appraisal of damages and professional
