COMPANY PROFILES 2017 is intended to provide you with an overview of established companies in the supplying industry and problem solvers for specific cases in your company’s everyday business. On the following pages, these companies present them-selves briefly and inform about their services and products. Our WHO - WHAT - WHERE for the dairy industry, cheese makers not to forget, offers in short form key information about well-established and reliable suppliers and has been established as a reference work for many years. We recommend that you keep the COMPANY PROFILES separately at hand. As it is easy to handle, you can quickly get in touch with the suppliers listed here, if necessary. The COMPANY PROFILES is included as a booklet. This means that the COMPANY PROFILE can be removed and can be archived separately as a reference source directory.

Dairies from all over the world use the technology and knowl-edge of the Bavarian company, ALPMA Alpenland Maschinenbau GmbH. For more than 70 years, ALPMA offers solutions to its customers for the preparation of raw milk, whey processing, cheese production as well as cutting and packaging technology for both hard and soft cheeses. ALPMA‘s products range from the mechanisation of partial processes up to large fully auto-mated production lines.

In regards to technological advice, ALPMA’s employees are able to utilise their many years of dairy experience. The basic princi-ple behind all of ALPMA‘s work is that the quality of cheese, the precision of the packaging and the reliability of ALPMA‘s instal-lation must always exceed the quality and efficiency of the best hand-crafted work. This is the principle that led to the continu-ous cheese curd production with the ALPMA Coagulator.

In our work with big com-panies like Cadbury, Hochdorf, Hofmeister, and Nestlé as well as many smaller family dairies, we’ve come to the realization that no two processing plants are exactly alike. Yes, there are some technical similarities in the process and equipment, but that’s where the similarities stop.

Each customer has its own specific challenges, whether produc-ing milk, cream, butter, cheese, casein, whey protein, lactose, or powdered milk. Each is under pressure to find its own path toward more efficient and profitable production. That is why

ContiTech – International Industry Partner to the Dairy Sector

ContiTech develops and produces hoses and hose assemblies for the food industry, the water sector, chemicals and petrochemi-cals, mining and extraction of crude oil and natural gas, as well as mechanical engineering and many other industries. To ensure that the hoses function safely and reliably in the long term, the mate-rial and design are matched precisely to the specific application conditions and the media. So, for example, the milk collection hos-es Collector and Collector Flex, and the food hoses Lactopal and Lactopal L precisely fulfill the requirements for powerful hoses used daily on milk collection vehicles and in dairies. Specific rub-ber compounds, sophisticated process technology, high-quality pressure-bearing materials and professional attachment of cou-plings ensure a long service life for the dairy hoses and optimum industrial safety – even under severe operational stress. They are characterized by dependability, flexibility and easy and trouble-free handling, guaranteeing users in dairies and on milk collection vehicles a highly versatile product. The hoses meet all national and

international hygiene standards. They conform to recommenda-tion XXI of the German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) and the directives of the uS Food and Drug Administration (FDA). This means that the white non-porous inner lining is absolutely odorless and has no effect on the taste of the milk.

In addition, milk hoses from ContiTech take into account the ever stricter requirements of users in the dairy sector when it comes to cleaning and disinfection. The brand-name hoses are manu-factured in Germany in accordance with EC Directive 1935/2004 and EC Directive 2023/2006 in state-of-the-art, computer-con-trolled manufacturing plants. The use of high-quality materials and comprehensive quality controls during production ensure that, meter for meter, a hose is always of the same high quality.

DOESCHOt bv

DOESCHOT bv

DOESCHOT was founded in 1896 and served its customers in the dairy industry from the very beginning of its existence. The company, managed by André Doeschot who grew up in machine design and construction, nowadays realises the major part of its turnover in the food and dairy industry. The main products are machines and robotized skid mounted compact lines for cheese treatment, such as smearing, coating, waxing, labelling and shelf cleaning. We consider ourselves specialists in the natural ripe-ning of cheese. Certainly our knowledge of engineering and au-tomation forms an important basis for this. We grow by invest-ing in knowledge of the technology and its application.

DOESCHOT cheese treatment machinery excel in efficiency and low maintenance costs. Important aspects for DOESCHOT in the designing process are cleanability and hygiene. The company follows the EHEDG guidelines. The use of robots in automatic handling systems has made them much more compact, simple to use and more clean than traditional treatment lines.
