Adjectives made of one syllable:

If an adjective is made of one, two, three or more syllables, then the word more must be added before the adjective:

Pretty
If an adjective is made of two syllables and ends in ‘’
y’’, this letter must be changed into an ‘i’, and the
ending -er:

Superlatives
This form is used when it is needed to highliht a situation from other. It is necessary to add the article 'the' before a superlative:
