To compare changes in weight loss, body fat, and dieting behavior in participants randomized to 4 commercially available weight loss programs:• Atkins diet: Self-monitored, low carbohydrate• Slim Fast: Meal replacement

• Weight Watchers: Energy-controlled, group meetings

• Rosemary Conley’s: Low-fat, weekly group exercise
