Chris and Yuko will be making traditional and fancy cakes, plus delicious savouries for you to sample with a cup of tea or coffee at the kitchen table or to take home. Venue 96: Print a set of Furzedown tea towels with Gillian from Fabric Nation – learn how to screen print using different techniques and design your own Furzedown and Tooting tea towel. Saturday 5 October 2pm to 5pm. £20 includes all materials, ready-made silk screens, two tea towels, and cake of course! On both weekends there will also be a pottery painting work shop for children run by Caragh Buxton. Why not start your trail by visiting an exhibition of participating artists at the Graveney and Meadow: a bar, bakery and tapas restaurant at 40 Mitcham Road, close to Tooting Broadway tube.
