ELEMENTS

There are three main elements in the Complete Electric Logo: the text, the lightening bolts, and the red line separating the lightening bolts. These elements represent the following. The italicized, sans serif text represents the companies mainstream, up to date business ethics. The lightening bolts represent the company’s field of work, electrical contracting. And the red line represents the division between the commercial and residential work that they do.

Each piece of mail in this stationary set both exists as its own and as a cohesive set, the subtle watermark bringing out the yellow in the stationary, with the lightening bolt mark being a gray elsewhere. This subtle addition to the otherwise minimal set puts a emphasis on what the company does, as well as providing a strong visual element.
