Introduction

Rapid technical developments in the LED sector and numerous technological advantages have, at least in the area of machinery

and workplace lighting, led many to consider changing from conventional lighting systems to solutions involving LED.

An important reason which makes LED technology attractive is the reduction of the total cost of ownership. When compared

to conventional lighting systems, the use of light-emitting diodes is, on the whole, more cost-effective, due to the longer service

life, minimal maintenance costs and lower energy consumption involved. Moreover, an increase in robustness (resistance to

impacting and vibration) and an improvement in lighting can be achieved, even where confined spaces are involved, as LED

systems are compact in their design. Further advantages include an increase in safety, as the complete brightness is immediately

available. The burning in of coolants and lubricants is also no longer a problem, due to the low level of heat development.

In addition, only protective low voltage is required in the machine room, thanks to the simple integration of 24 V DC operat-

ing voltage in the machinery environment. Our LED lights can be dimmed easily and (almost) without power using a separate

signal cable and PWM signal, enabling the achievement of ergonomically adapted lighting conditions.

The LED Spot Lights ML-x-Spot allow with low size and robust

design a spot-like illumination in harsh industrial environments.

With fully encapsulated electronics unit and an impact resistant

windshield the LED spots are protected from influences in industrial

environments.

By using a system profile housing with the types ML-5 and ML-10

Spot-Spot a easy and flexible installation with slot nuts is possible.

The spot lights have a beam angle of 20° and radiate a directional

homogeneous and flicker-free light in daylight quality to an object.

Because the optical focusing, the working distance can be increased,

so that the lights do not restrict the working space. With the flexible

metal hose (types ML-5-x and ML-10-x) the light cone can be aligned

accurately.

The ML-x machine light series is a superior-quality 24 V LED

lighting solution for sophisticated industrial applications.

A thermally optimised LED electronic unit is cooled in a 40 mm

aluminium profile housing, ensuring a long service life. Embedding

the electronics in a transparent UV-resistant PUR casting protects

the machine lights against environmental influences, moisture and

numerous chemicals (lyes, acids and oil).

This machine light design enables simple wall mounting with a

glare-free light emission parallel to the mounting surface. The moun-

ting angle kit ML-W2 (see accessories), with offset holes, enables

the realisation of flush mounting on 40 mm profile systems.

The machine tool lights series WML-x-UF allows illumination with

compact dimensions an easy integration into machines and cutting

machines without significantly restricting the space.

The robust aluminum housing with stainless steel protection plate

and a thermally hardened glass front protects the lamp against a

lot of chemicals such as alkalis, acids and oils and hot chippings in

machine tools. The lights are completely casted with a transparent

PUR encapsulation which prevents infiltration of oil or other liquids.

The LED-lamps generates an flickerfree illumination in daylight

quality with an beam angle 110°.

The LED-lamp series WML-x-UF is available in five power sizes

types. The electrical installation can plugged with M12 connector

or with 5 m PUR / PVC cable with open end. These lights with the

flat construction are particularly suitable for space-saving

applications.

The LED machine light series ML-x-P / WML-x-P allows with

very compact dimensions easy and spaces saving integration in

signi ficantly restricting machines or tooling machines. With M12

plug connector systems a simple electrical installation directly

to 24 V DC is possible.

With a rotatable and robust aluminum housing, the impact-

resistant polycarbonate windscreen (ML-X-P) or thermally hardened

safety glass (WML x-P), the LED light is protected against mechanical

environmental influences and numerous chemicals as alkalis, acids

and oils.

The highly efficient LED – in combination with the fine prismatic

glare control – produce a wide beam angle of 100° and a flicker-

free light in the usual daylight quality.

The series ML-x-P and WML-x-P are each in four power-sizes avail-

able. The series WML-x-P is designed for the machine tool industry

and has a stainless steel front protection and a thermally hardened

safety glass optics.

The LED lights series ML-x-LK and ML-x-LKF allows illumination

with slim dimensions easy integration into machines or electrical

cabinets without significantly restricting the space. A simple

electrical installation directly to 24 V is implemented 3 m PVC / PVC

cable or with M12-connector.

The 360° rotatable and robust aluminum housing of the series

ML-x-LK allows for flexible orientation of lighting. The boltable

aluminum housing with M6 allen screws of the series ML-x-LKF

enables easy installation in industrial environment.

Both series need a DC power supply from 21 to 27 V.

The maximum ambient operating temperature is 50° C.

The LED signal spots SL-5-R / G points an object with a signal

colour red or green.

LED signal spots allow selective illumination in harsh industrial

environments with compact dimensions and robust construction.

A fully encapsulated electronics unit and an impact resistant

polycarbonate front optic protects the lamp. The signal-spots

reaches the protection-class IP65.

The use of a system profile housing allows easy and flexible

installation.

LED signal lamps of the series SL-x-LKF and SL-x-F can, because

of the compact dimensions, be positioned very close to an object.

The signal message is thus easier to locate. With fully encapsulated

electronics unit and an impact resistant windshield the LED spots

are protected from influences in industrial environments.

For example, the series SL-x-F can be mounted directly within

a machine cell, so that the complete machine cell lights in the

respective signal colour.

The LED signal lights series SL-X-F-Ampel with their very flat design

are easy to use in door or gate applications or other mounting surfaces

and they can fastened without any cut-off. The fully encapsulated

electronics for a high protection degree (IP 68) assures waterproof,

oil-proof and easy to clean.

The operating voltage is 24 V. The robust LEDs are current stabilized.

The LED lights are connected with a 4-wire PUR / PVC cable with

5 m length.

The LED signal lamp series SL-x-TRIO is designed for front assembly

with two M6 screws. These signal lights can easily integrated into

profile systems with nut slots.

The sturdy aluminum housing and rugged polycarbonate optics

fullfill harsh industrial environments requirements. The specially

developed for LED application polycarbonate diffuser ensures

a homogeneous light-emitting surface with high efficiency.

A simple electrical installation directly to 24 V DC is realized via

4-wire PVC cable with 5 m length. The supply voltage range is

21-27 V DC. The maximum ambient temperature is 50° C.

AL-x is intended for use in assembly workplaces and designed for

machinery which does not use liquid coolants.

A long service life and the latest LEDs, distinguished by excellent

energy efficiency, enable you to achieve cost savings with these light

systems as, when compared to conventional lights, they represent a

maintenance-free solution characterised by low energy consumption.

Flexible mounting options realised with adjustable slot nuts (slot 8)

facilitate easy integration of the LED workplace light AL-x in system

workplaces or machines. The integrated dimmer module enables

optimum adaptation to the required lighting conditions.

The LED inspection lamp IL-6 has been designed for quality

assurance and visual inspections in industrial use.

A long flexible metal hose with 650 mm length and a slim light head

allows you to light even in hard to reach objects close to the region

of interest. An integrated dimming-module offers a brightness adjust -

ment to the ambient conditions. The impact-resistant inspection

lamp IL-6 is equipped with high-efficiency LEDs and provide an

illumination in daylight color with a high color rendering index.
