3. Concentration--write facts and sums/differences on cards place face down and play a memory match game matching fact a fact with its sum or

difference

4. Go fish--use the same cards you used for concentration to play Go Fish

5. Find the sum/difference--Lay the sum and difference cards (0-10 or 0-20 for challenge) on the floor, parent says a fact and student finds the

sum/difference. Can also do this as "Fly swatter", where the student swats the sum of difference.

6. Find the Fact--this is the opposite of Find the sum/difference. Lay out the addition and subtraction cards and say a number (0-10 or 0-20 for

challenge) and the student finds the fact that is equal to the number.

7. Egg Carton Math--label the inside of the egg carton with numbers 0-12 (or could be 05, and repeat numbers). Place two marbles in the carton.

Shake and open. Add the two numbers and write the equation. This can be done with three marbles to practice three-addend addition. It can also be

used to practice subtraction. Write the equation using the greater number first and subtract the other number.

8. Climb the stairs--place fact cards on the stairs and have student read and solve each as they go up the stairs.

9. Fact hunt--place fact cards around the room and student needs to find one that is equal to 1, then one that is equal to 2, and so on. Can be played

with both addition and subtraction cards.

10. Math fact cup crash--write math facts on paper/plastic cups. Student takes the cup, solves the fact, and stacks the cup. Once the student has

answered six, they should have a small cup pyramid and can knock it down with a ball.

11. Feed the monster--Make a monster's face out of an empty tissue box. As you practice your facts, feed the fact cards to the monster. See how

many you can feed him!

12. Go outside and write your math facts in chalk.

13. Math Fact Kaboom- Write your math facts on popsicle sticks and put them in a jar. Write the word “Kaboom” on a few popsicle sticks and mix

them in. Player pulls out a stick and answers the math fact. If the answer is correct, they keep the stick. If it is incorrect, put it back in. If a player

pulls out a stick that says “Kaboom”- they must put all their sticks back in. Player with the most sticks at the end wins.
