Connected by the Blood How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He’s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high

places of blessing in him. Long before he laid the earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. (Ephesians 1:3-4 - Message)

For those who are saved you probably can remember the feelings you felt when you accepted Christ as your Lord. You were so thankful for His mercy and His grace. What is important to understand is that the moment you cried out to God for salvation was not the moment you became the focus of His love. At the moment you were saved, God did not respond saying, “Okay, now that you believe I am, I will send my son to save you.” No, God already chose you as the focus of His love before you received the revelation of how much you needed Him. Ephesians 1:3-4 express-es that God had already chosen us before He created the foundations of the world. He already made the pro-vision for establishing a relationship with you, before you were in need, before you were born, before you sinned, before the earth was even created! That provision was made through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.

Long, long ago he decided to adopt us unto his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of His lavish gift giving by the hand of his

beloved Son. (Verses 5-6 -Message)

Today, most Christians continue to believe that good deeds such as living holy, reading the Word, tithing or fasting will earn their acceptance from God. You must realize, the day you received Christ into your life you became the recipient of God’s unearned, undeserved grace and favor. Ephesians 1:5-6 emphasizes that God’s grace is a gift by the hand of Christ and through this gift; no addi-tional deeds are required on our part.

My Prayer for You.

This is my prayer for the members of New Life this year. I pray that each of you cultivate a relationship with God that surpasses any other relationship in your life. I pray you realize that God has desired a relationship with you since before He created the foundations of the earth and He made provision for this relationship through the sacrifice of His Son. I pray you come to realize that you are highly favored by Him, not because of what you do, but because of your trust and reliance on the finished work of Jesus. I pray that through your relationship with God, you experience whole-life prosperity and all other relationships in your life will benefit as a direct result of your relationship with God. I pray this in the Almighty name of Jesus Christ. “Jesus! My Connect.”

To have a real relationship with someone, you need to spend time with them. You must get to know them. True BFF’s are there for each other during the good and the bad. They know intimate details about one another, they

study each other. I’m not against having friends, but the Bible tells us that we have a friend in Jesus and that He sticks closer than a brother.

God loves us so much, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not per-ish, but have everlasting life [John 3:16]. We are the apple of His eye. We have been created in His image and in His likeness. We need to set aside time daily to spend with God, to concentrate on our relationship with Him.

Our lives should demonstrate that we are relying on God and God alone to take care of us.

Don’t let what you used to do prevent you from being who you ought to be. We all make mistakes, but guess what, our mistakes don’t catch God by surprise. He is all knowing. He already knew you were going to make that mistake, and yet He still loves you - evident by His sacrifice for you. Isn’t it a great feeling to know that even if you stumble, God still loves you? His mercy is new every morning. When you understand Who God is, you’ll see that you don’t have to perform for Him. We need to spend less time trying to be perfect and spend more time communing with Him and trusting in Him.

Ephesians 2:10 (amplified) reads, “For we are God’s [own] handiwork [His workmanship], recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined [planned before-

hand] for us [taking paths which He prepared ahead of time], that we should walk in them [living the good life which He prearranged and made ready for us to live].”

As we enter into 2012 my heart floods with excitement about all that God has in store for this local assembly of believers. I believe that this is our year to step up, to step out, and to step into

all that God has prearranged and predestined for us.

Saints, it is time for us to stop having just a Wednesday night, or Sunday morning experience. It is time for us to have a real relationship with the Almighty God that impacts every aspect of our daily living.

So beginning this year, turn your focus, turn your attention, and turn your heart towards Him, and watch Him do exceeding abundantly above all that you could ever ask, or think.

John 15:7 | Psalms 91 There is a new season ahead that will be most dynamic, most trying and by far the most

victorious we have seen. Testings will occur for which your faith is more than adequate and will be avenues for accelerated promotions. Most of the tests will be those of challenging obedience opportunities that will come from the Lord to catapult you to new levels. There will be a few severe tests orchestrated by the evil one all of which you will overcome with such ease you will only know he has tested you when you look back. The key to your increases is the dwelling or abiding factor. You must choose to let My spirit dwell in you, with you and direct you as your protector, prompter and provider.

Those who will commit themselves to prayer and spending time in the secret place will be sensitive to the strategic moves of My Spirit in the days to come and will be in the right place at the right time.

Debt...Debt...Debt... Must release its hold over your life. I will give increase for Kingdom debt cancellation, which will cause personal debt elimination for those who choose to dwell in my secret places. A two-fold recompense, a double portion awaits those who pursue me with all their heart. Oh how I long to manifest the miraculous among My people and so will I do through a response to your faith...protect your faith from the expectation that human reasoning, logic and the usual way things work. Expect the supernatural that is the fabric of past testimonies of My power that made those testimonies so inspiring. Vindication! Vindication! I promised it and now all will see and know that your steps of previous times were ordered by me. Build my model and I will manifest the multitudes and shower you, your children and their generations with blessings!

As Christians we are called to a relationship of real communication with God. When God comes to live inside us, things change. Through our testimonies more people will begin to realize that God is real, miracles do hap-pen, and prayer works. We hope the testimonies below will inspire you to know the peace and satisfaction that comes to a person who truly gives their life over to God.

TESTIMONIES

I accepted Jesus Christ as my savior and became a member of New Life WOC in August 2010. I was delivered from a life of drugs, sex, lying and cheating. I was physically and emotionally abused for the majority of my life. I was mean and hateful. I angered easily and was on an emotional roller coaster most days. I was at fault in a fatal head-on collision and the driver of the other vehicle died. I did not know how to forgive myself and I became severely depressed. That is when I began to pray for the first time in my life. Praying helped me to forgive myself, but the devil began to attack me even harder as I was drawing nearer to God. I did not know enough of God’s word to fight the devil off. The devil had mastered me and I was sick and tired of being sick and tired.

Now, I thank the Lord for His grace and mercy. I could have been dead and gone, but the Lord has a plan for me. This past year I realized all my past storms were to get me to my new life with God. I am thankful to have a Pastor I can understand and when I apply his teachings to my life, they come to be. I have learned to trust God, not people, and to have faith that everything will work out for the good.

A New Beginning

In 2011 I graduated from college with a degree. I started a new job and found peace in the midst of my storms. My father, God, only wants the best for me. I will not just settle for what I have accomplished this year because I know there is an abundance of blessings my Lord is waiting to give me. 2011 was my best year yet!

Our Set PlaceJohn 8:32, “And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

In 2006 the Lord spoke to our hearts to go and fellowship with other churches. We went. At New Life our ears were open to hear the word of God. We knew we were in our set place – to be taught the word of God. We have grown in the word and are seeing the word manifested in our lives by faith. Colossians 3:2, “Set your affection on the things above, not on things on the Earth.” We thank God for Pastor A.J. and Pastor Cris and for their obedience to God’s voice when they were led to come to Snow Hill. Job 36:11 states; “If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity and their years in pleasures.” With the knowledge and wisdom of God’s word, we have developed “faith boldness” and we are walking in victory. To God be the glory. Since we have been partners at New Life we are walking in God’s blessings. The Lord’s favor is on our lives. We love Pastor A.J. and Pastor Cris and may God continue to bless them mightily and New Life World Outreach Center.

In September 2004 after 13 years of marriage, our marriage had reached a breaking point. We were too far gone to turn around and had no idea how to move forward. We were introduced to Pastors Anthony & Crystal Jones. They taught us biblical principles on how to succeed in our marriage. Many days were uncomfortable. We had to say things and do things we were not used to doing. Though our marriage has been challenging, the rewards surpass the heartaches. We have now been married over 20 years because we now build our marriage on the Word. We are grateful to God for His presence in our marriage and leading us to New Life World Outreach Center. We are witnesses that He can renew and restore anything the enemy has taken from you.

Youth MinistryIn addition to equipping our children with the tools necessary to be rooted and built up in God’s word and established in the faith [Colossians 2:7] we are committed to providing a place where our youth can relax, be themselves, and gather together to fellowship and have fun!

In 2012 New Life is dedicated to building an outdoor recreational facility designed specifically with our youth in mind. Once this kingdom expansion project is completed, our youth will have access to covered picnic areas, basketball courts, a volleyball area and other outdoor recreational amenities that will enable them to have fun and fellowship; but most importantly, they will have a place to call their own.

We are compassionate about our partners and are here to remind God’s people who are in need that New Life can be a stronghold during their times of trouble. We trust God to supply all our need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. [Philippians 4:19]

NEW MINISTRYNone Suffer Lack MinistryNone Suffer Lack Ministry“The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” ( Psalms 9:9)

Purpose: The None Suffer Lack is created to do God’s work in the community by providing internal and external resources to partners suffering from temporary financial crisis, unemployment or other hardships. None Suffer Lack will empower members to break free from hardships and learn to live a life of peace, power, and prosperity.

None Suffer Lack Ministry will provide: Financial Support/Guidance/Counseling.

Employment assistance through partnership networking.

Education – Provide educational/training opportunities for partners.

God values relationships. He wants us to be a part of a community where we are supported, encouraged and loved. To do this, we must live interdependent connected lives and develop authentic relationships with one another.

Kingdom Connections is designed to build intimate relationships among believers through small group connections. Through these connections each partner will be empowered to… CONNECT - Share life together. Establish and maintain authentic friendships that will encourage and empower one another.

“Two people are better off than one, for they can help each other succeed. If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble.” (Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 NLT)

GROW - Live interconnected lives of transparency and accountability and learn how to grow into the fullness of Christ as God works in you and through you. People grow faster spiritually in a caring, interactive group where they can feel free to ask their real questions and sense the support of the group.

“You, therefore, must be perfect [growing into complete maturity of godliness in mind and character, having reached the proper height of virtue and integrity], as your heavenly Father is perfect.” ( Matthew 5:48 AMP)

DISCIPLE - Encourage, strengthen, sharpen, and inspire. Real discipleship is about intimacy, authenticity, proximity and accountability. It’s about relationship and kingdom relationships will teach one another to teach others.

“What you have heard me teach publicly you should teach to others. Share these teachings with people you can trust. Then they will be able to teach others these same things.” ( 2 Timothy 2:2 - ERV)

“They worshiped together at the Temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity—all the while praising God and enjoying the goodwill of all the people. And each day the Lord added to their fellowship those who were being saved” ( Acts 2:46-47)

One of the reasons I believe God calls us to give sacrificially is to strengthen our faith and help us grow spiritually. He wants us to trust and understand the relationship we have with Him. When we trust Him, we are not afraid to give our lives, our time, our will or our money to Him.

The return on our giving is not always immediate, but it is always certain. As we depend on God and His ability, we will see His unwavering faithfulness to us, our faith will be strengthened, and He will be gloried.
