2. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart Family and childhood : He was born on 27 January 1756 to Leopold Mozart (17191787) and Anna Maria (17201778), at 9 Getreidegasse in Salzburg. He was the youngest of seven children, five of whom died in infancy. His elder sister was Maria Anna (17511829), nicknamed "Nannerl". Mozart was baptized the day after his birth at St. Rupert's Cathedral. The baptismal record gives his name in Latinized form as Joannes Chrysostomus Wolfgangus Theophilus Mozart. 3. Born in Bonn, then the capital of the Electorate of Cologne and part of the Holy Roman Empire A musician who came from Mechelen in present-day Belgium who moved at the age of twenty to Bonn. He was the grandson of Lodewijk van Beethoven (17121773). He remains one of the most famous and influential of all composers. His best known compositions include 9 symphonies, 5 concertos for piano, 32 piano sonatas, and 16 string quartets. He also composed other chamber music, choral works (including the celebrated Missa Solemnis), and songs. 6. Adelaide", is a song for solo voice and piano composed in about 1795 by Ludwig van Beethoven. The text is a poem in German by Friedrich von Matthisson (17611831). 7.
