Compton Verney, with its stunning landscaped grounds and beautiful Georgian mansion house, is the perfect setting for your meeting or event. This award-winning, elegant gallery fuses a beautiful original exterior with contemporary internal architecture and art set in extensive ‘Capability’ Brown designed parkland.
The inspiring collections of art and programme of exhibitions all combine to make Compton Verney a unique venue in which to hold your meeting. Our dedicated events team are on hand to support your planning from start to finish – whether you’re looking for innovative ideas or a more traditional approach.
Situated in the heart of England, Compton Verney is easily accessible from prime motorway routes and direct rail routes, whilst also being within a convenient distance from Birmingham airport.
There is level access throughout the building enabling wheelchair access.
Our award winning, in-house caterers, can provide a wide range of catering options to suit any type of event and are always bursting with delicious dishes made from the finest and freshest local ingredients.

Compton Verney has the flexibility to host major events outside in the beautiful ‘Capability’ Brown landscaped parkland. The West Lawn has an area in excess of 2,000m2, which is an ideal location for sophisticated temporary structures – perfect for product launches, large-scale corporate hospitality and team building. Banbury, Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwick and Leamington Spa are only a twenty minute drive away, with rail links direct to London and the rest of the country, making it suitable for all manner of events.

By Road
Compton Verney is situated 9 miles east of Stratford-upon-Avon on the B4086 between Wellesbourne and Kineton and is 6 miles drive from the M40, Junction 12 and follow brown signs.
Compton Verney is a 40-minute drive from Birmingham International Airport, or 90 minutes from Heathrow.
Parking at Compton Verney
We have a large car park, for which there is no charge for visitors to the Gallery. There is also a designated area for coach parking with spaces for up to 3 coaches.
Public transport links
By rail
The nearest stations are Leamington Spa, Stratford-upon-Avon, or Banbury. Approximately a 20-minute taxi ride from each. Chiltern Railways offers a fast, efficient service from London and Birmingham which stops at all three of these stations. Compton Verney is then a 25 minute taxi ride.
