25th International Symposium on Computer and Information Sciences
Symposium Chair’s Foreword
This conference that is held on 22nd to 24th September 2010 at the Royal Society in London and is organised by Imperial College, is the 25th of an annual series of meetings that started at Bilkent University in Ankara, Turkey, in 1986, with subsequent
Çesme, Belek and other sites in Turkey, as well as in the USA (Orlando) and at the Middle East Technical University campus in North Cyprus. Such a long history can only continue with the active support of Computer Scientists from Turkey, France, Greece, Italy, the UK and other countries. This conference series is inclusive as to topics, but selective in matters of quality. This year’s programme benefits from the contributions of very distinguished keynote speakers, and was established by the programme committee with the help of numerous referees. I take the opportunity here
Leaders. I would like to acknowledge in particular the organisational support of Dr Ricardo Lent, Dr Georgia Sakellari, Gökçe Görbil, Mrs Shahareen Hilmy and Mrs Fabienne Paul. All those who submitted papers have my gratitude for their very
conferences annual held in various cities including Istanbul, Izmir, Antalya,
valuable effort and contributions, and I am very grateful to our distinguished keynote speakers Prof. Samson Abramsky, Prof. Steve Furber, Prof. Tony Hoare, Prof.
Erol Gelenbe, Imperial College
Richard Karp, Prof. Raudy Katz and Prof Aurel Lazar.
to thank them all, as well as all the other Programme Co-Chairs, the Technical Area
