There is no doubt that one of the most popular and succesfull science is computer science in our century.Many of the biggest companies like Microsoft ,Apple ,IBM ,Intel ,eBay interested in computer science and they develop new things for us ,using computer science.It makes life easier.In this presentation ,I will explain in which industry or researches ,we use advantages of computer science.

INTRODUCTION

Electronic Health Records contain a patient’s medical history ,prescriptions ,lab results ,allergies ,insurance of information and more about patient.Making these informations avaible to health care providers with the aid of secure network improves patient care ,reduce the probability of the errors and increase overall effiency of the health care system.

Human Genom Projects

The Human Genom Project was founded to identify and analyze the over than 20,000 genes in human DNA.The project uses computer programs to analyze complex genetic data and store the informations in database which are available over the internet to researchers in many field.

Amber Alert

American Missing : Broadcast Emergency Response (AMBER) Alert System for using to find abducted children.When a child abducted from someone .Usa published as a notice that situation on TV ,radio ,highway broadcast and more .

Medical Imagening

• X-ray computed tomography (CT) scans ,take X-ray of the body from hundreds of different angles.Computers are using for to adjust the intensity of the X-rays ,optimizing the scan for each type of tissues ,then to combine all of the information to create a 3D image.

Cloud Technology

• Cloud computing allows us to use software ,hardware and information stored in the cloud and we can access that informations using our computer with connection of Internet.Especially companies use that technology because they have so many document and they need to recover that documents in a very large memory area.The cloud technology has unlimited memory.

Global Positioning System (GPS)• GPS devices use a network of satellites

to retrieve location based information.Multiple satellities send time stamped signals to the GPS device ,which calculates the distance to each satellitie based on the time the signal left the satellite and the time the signal arrived.GPS devices work with advanced softwares to do that process.

GPS devices can provide step by step directions and help you locate nearby places (restaurants ,gas stations etc…) and points of interest.GPS is used in numerous location based Internet services such as check-in apps to help you find your friends (Foursquare or Facebook) ,exercise apps such as RunKeeper that track the time ,distance and average speed of your outdoor jog ,dating apps that help you find a match nearby and apps that dynmically update changing traffic conditions.Thanks to computer science ,it provide us this kind of convenience

Robotic Technology

• Robots can be used for entertainment ,military combats ,manufacturing ,space exploration and more.With the aid software we can controlled robots.It provide advantage to spend less time to calculating ,manufacturing and more.Also using robots we provide to people more secure work condition.

World Connection

• Using software and computer science we almost connect whole world each other.Using internet we can read any news about a foreign country ,with the aid of e-mail systems companies can contact each other that causes to improve the trade of world and more.Using video chat programs we can contact with our friends who live at a foreign country.

Conclusion

• At the time of this presentation ,Apple was the most valuable company in the world.That show us the importance of computers ,softwares and computer science.If we create better world with good health ,education ,work conditions and if we want to make life easier ,our key must be computer science and we need to improve and develop it’s applications.
