Advanced Accounting L.L.C is a U.S- based accounting and audit firm that has been serving clients more than a decade in the United States of American and Canada. With a team of experienced staff, Advanced Accounting L.L.C. launched its Kabul branch in March 2016, which has been serving the market in the fileds of Audit, Advisory, Event Management and Training & Development.

Institute of Business Studies (IBS) is our capacity building program which offers ACCA, FIA and other accounting courses based on practical approaches. IBS also provides different workshops, seminars, events and conferences in areas of Accounting, Finance, Management and Leadership.

We are proud initiators of projects such as Colloquium on Accounting, Young Leaf and Afghan Girls Debating Project. Each project has significance of their own where the scope of projects varied from social innovation, social change, peace building, debating, negotiation and role modeling.

Abdul Wali Noori is currently working as a Director of Legal Services and Chairman of Technical Committee Afghanistan Revenue Departments’. He has worked with MoF, Taxation Administration (ARD) as; General Manager of Law Enforcement LTO, senior staff member of law enforcement in LTO, Sub-directorate of Ruling and Tax Exemption, Sub-director and director of Objection and Review Office of ARD. He has also worked as a Tax Manager in KPMG (an International consultancy). He has also participated in national and international programs. He has received many certificates from the MoF, USAID, ARD, Adam Smith International, and ACCI. He also provides taxation trainings to the ARD staff, state departments, NGOs and private sector on regular basis and was part of the ARD negotiation team in respect of DTA with many countries.

Born in Singapore and raised in India, Pakistan and Nepal. Barbie first worked in Afghanistan in 1967 as a teacher before continuing higher education in the UK. In the UK, she pioneered, wrote and developed both government and non-government funded skills training programs. Barbie completed research gaining [UK] post-graduate qualifications from Bristol University in Asian Marriage in Britain and from Middlesex University for creating and running Childhood Bereavement Services. Barbie brings to Afghanistan many years of expertise in training trainers. She is, also, a Certified Professional Coach and Master Leadership Practitioner [with internationally accredited qualifications].

Dr. Shakir Ullah holds a Ph.D. (with distinction) from the University of Southampton, UK, and MBA (with Award for Outstanding Thesis) from Korea Development Institute (KDI), School of Public Policy and Management, South Korea. He is currently working as Professor of Finance at Stratford University, Virginia. He is also the Chair of Stratford University’s Institutional Review Board (IRB). Apart from that, he is an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland University College, and he is also working as a PhD Advisor at the Georgetown University, Washington D.C. Earlier, he taught at the University of Southampton, UK, and Institute of Management Sciences, Pakistan. Shakir has also worked as Global Business and Financial Analyst with Fortune 500 companies including Microsoft, Honda, MasterCard, Walt Disney and Jaguar etc.”

Faye Hall is an entrepreneur who started three successful companies in the USA which continue to thrive - ‘Build It’, ‘Code It’ and ‘Fresh image1.JPG - CopyFire Grill’. Before that, she worked in Silicon Valley in the high tech industry for 15 years. Faye was at the epicenter of launching ‘Sprint’s wireless service. She was the lead engineer that transformed eBay from single router to a massive server farm during eBay’s intense early growth and she holds a US patent in network system design. Faye holds both master and bachelor degrees in Computer Science from the University of Kansas. She was born in China, and studied at the top medical school in China before she found her love of technology.

Mr. Bishwajit Mazumder, Internal Audit Head – AIBTopic: Creating Dynamic Culture

Rahimullah Mojaddedi is the CEO of AHG. He has 30 years of work experience in areas such as political and diplomatic strategy, peace building, rule of law and professional development. Before joining AHG, he was Chief of Team for the U.S. Department of State/INL funded Justice Sector Support Program - a multi-faceted Rule of Law intervention engaging the entire justice sector. His major achievements include transitioning JSSP from an International-led program to an Afghan-led one; building a nationwide online Case Management System; providing advisory and technical support on legislation, human rights, accountability, transparency and civil service reform; helping develop strategies for organizational improvement; providing legal skills training and organizational capacity building; and assisting with better protections of vulnerable groups in the society. His political acumen and seasoned diplomatic skills have enabled him to build excellent working relationships with counterparts. Mr. Mojaddedi has an LL.M. Degree from the International Islamic University, Islamabad and is fluent in six languages.

Bishwajit Mazumder holds B.Sc., CA, MBA, LLB, CISA, CIA, CISSP, CISSM and CFE certificates with 30 years of working experience. He is currently heading Internal Audit Department of Afghanistan International Bank. Earlier he worked as the head of Group Operations for Mauritius in South Africa; head of Operations and Group Chief Internal Auditor at State Bank of Mauritius; Chief Audit Executive for ING Bank Ltd. In India; Chief Internal Auditor for Central Bank of Oman; Assistant Vice President - Audit at IDBI Bank in India, to name a few. He has also worked as a Board Member and Membership Director at ISACA Mumbai Chapter; Board member and President at IIA Bangalore Chapter IIA, Mauritius Chapter, and so forth. He has been a public speaker at various platforms in Asia and Africa.

Mr. Syed Younas Sadat (MBA Finance, B.Sc. hons & ACCA) is currently working as the Chief Finance Officer of Da Afghanistan bank. He has a vast experience in accounting and finance, reserve management, budgeting and strategic planning and research to name a few. He has worked with Accounting and Financial supervision department of Da Afghanistan bank in implementing IFRS in Afghanistan. He has also worked with IFRS foundation in this regard. He has also worked closely with DAB and World Bank teams to implement Portfolio analytics tools 2 in Da Afghanistan bank, and he has worked as a project implementation team for Afghanistan National switch (APS) and is also part of project implementation team in Afghanistan Transfer system (ATS). He has also done research on Quality of Corporate Governance in Central bank of Afghanistan. He has also served as a lecturer at AUAF and Kardan University.
