CONDENSATE

SPLITTERS

Proxions Condensate Splitter (PMR-CS are com-

plete, modularized units ready for installation

and are designed to be fully erected and opera-

tional within 2-6 weeks from arrival at the pre-

pared project site. All equipment is fully warrant-

ed for 12 months and includes process guaran-

tee.

Our refineries work on a limited amount of

utilities and therefore or self sufficient depend-

ing on the crude type and product requirements.

Based on a typical 50° API) Condensate oil, the

PMR-CS will process the rated capacity and pro-

duce by volume approximately 50% Naphtha,

25% Distillate, and 25% Residuum.

Actual processing capacities, product percent-

ages and boiling points will vary depending on

the special characteristics of your crude. Upon

receipt of your crude composition.

Proxion Mini Refineries can also furnish any op-

tional equipment needed for further processing

of your product streams such as Distillate

Hydrotreaters, Catalytic Reformers, Vacuum

Units and Naphtha Stabilizers.

Products

____________________

NAPHTHA - Naphtha's boiling

end point is typically between

150°C (302°F) to 193°C (380°

F). This rough-cut hydrocarbon

will generally be blended back

with the residuum and re-

injected into the crude pipeline.

DIESEL (DISTILLATE) - This

product's typical boiling range

is from about 185°C

(365°F) to about 351°C (665°

F), and can be used as a heat-

ing oil and fuel. The unit will

produce arctic, winter and sum-

mer grades of diesel, depend-

ing upon the quality of the

crude.

RESIDUUM - The remaining

crude, which is heavier than

diesel, typically begins to

boil at about 287°C (550°F).

This product is generally blend-

ed back with the naphtha and

re-injected into the crude pipe-

line.

Capacities

Each PMR-CS is custom de-

signed to satisfy the client

unique requirement. Although

we do standardize our systems

so that addons can be imple-

mented quickly, safely and cost

effectively.

Most of our units can be

operated with a minimum turn-

down of 40% of maximum

throughput.

STANDARD PMR-CS PROCESS FLOW

Process Description

__________________________________________________________________________

This PMR-CS is designed to separate the Condensate into several side cuts, an overhead

and bottom stream. The streams will be cut according to the boiling points pre-determined to

meet the product specifications and standard. The design of the process will be to operate at

a continuous state to the capacity outlined in the scope of supply for 330 days per year while

processing the condensate described in the assay provided. The plant will be modular and

skid mounted, incorporating the listed process equipment, piping, instrumentation and all

electrical junction boxes located at the skid edge. The PMR-CS does not use steam for strip-

ping, however steam stripping can be incorporated into the PMR-CS design as an add-on but

will be subject to design consideration and approval.

Condensate feedstock is delivered to the suction of the condensate charge pumps (by Buy-

er’s pipeline) from the outside battery limits, at the required minimum flow and suction

(NPSH) as required by the pumps. The condensate charge pumps, then delivers the conden-

sate to a pre-flash vessel where the light ends are flashed off and routed either to storage or

flare. The bottom liquid from the pre-flash vessel is delivered at the required pressure and

flow to the Atmospheric Distillation Column (ADU). The process in the column splits the con-

densate feed into the following products.

— Naphtha

— Kero/Jet Fuel

— Diesel

— Atmospheric Bottoms

The process is set up such that the side draw products will have a wide range of properties

(within limits) depending on the intended use. A side stream stripper might be envisaged for

the Naphtha, kerosene or diesel to remove the light ends from the products. The side stream

strippers will be envisaged based on specification and intended use.

Additional draw offs can be added if required.
