Kalahari Experience

Friday, 1st of May at Spitskop Nature Re-serve (located on the R360 north bound)

about 10km from town.

Officially starting from 18h30 but you are more than welcome to arrive earlier to wit-

ness the sunset.

Our host will be Jean Lambrecht from Northern Cape Famous Lodges. He will serve us tradi-tional style Kalahari food! The cost is R220 pp and we will try to make it truly memorable!

——— • Please dress warmly for all occa-

sions and ladies please bring a blanket for your knees - it gets chilly at night in the Kalahari.

• Wear closed shoes for the sand.

Information on Venue:

Our Conference will be held at Duineveld High School at the Suidsaal. The school is easy to find and access to the school is easy with ample and safe parking.

It is also adjacent to the Kalahari Mall and close to most of the guest houses.

_______

Lunch and tea will be served at the School. The reason for this is two-fold:

• lunch will only be an hour, as to leave earlier in the afternoon.

• restaurants in Upington might not be able to accommodate so many dele-gates in an hour’s time

______

Trivia: The Duineveld Hotel School will be serving lunch on both Friday and Saturday. This school has produced a few well known foodies such as Jacques Erasmus of Hemelhuijs in Cape Town and Herman Lensing, Food Editor of Sarie Magazine.

Farewell Cocktail - 2 May 2015

Saying goodbye is always hard. Do come and join us at the Protea

Hotel from 18h30 onwards.

The food will be different from the other nights as well as the ambience.

This is the last time for fellowship before we all head home.
