With a great pleasure and pride I invite you to the 4th Annual Gulf Obesity Surgery Society Meeting (GOSS 2016) which is going to be held in the Gulf Hotel, Kingdom of Bahrain, 30th Nov - 2nd Dec 2016.

The meeting will be organized by the Gulf Obesity & Metabolic Surgery Society and Supreme Council of Health Bahrain. The Annual GOSS Meeting becomes the region’s premiere educational platform in the field of bariatric surgery where practitioners, researchers and allied healthprofessionals come to learn and network.

The organizing and scientific committees of GOSS 2016 unify their efforts to provide an excellent scientific program. World-renowned faculty and up-and-coming experts will be invited to facilitate sessions that will broaden the knowledge and improve the skill sets of attendees.

Opening Ceremony: The organizers of the conference invited all registered del-egates to attend the Opening Ceremony which is held on Thursday, 1st December 2016 at 10:00 – 11:00 in Al Dana Ballroom.

Registration: Registration desks for name badge collection and on-site registration is located at the lobby of the convention center and will be open from 08:00 am on all days of the conference.

Badges: Name badges must be visible and used at all times while attending the conference.

Speakers Room: There is a dedicated room for speaker registration and badge col-lection in Al Dana 5 which is operational during the same time as the registration desks.

Food & Beverage: Coffee breaks will take place in the pre-function area and lunches will be provided in the exhibition area on both days of the conference.

Rules: There are designated smoking areas in the hotel. Kindly ask the conference or hotel staff for directions.

Mobile Phones - delegates are kindly requested to keep their mobile phones in the silent mode while attending scientific sessions.

Prayer Room: Male & female prayer rooms are available in the hotel. Kindly ask the conferenceor hotel staff for directions.
