Our extensive performance, rehearsal and dining spaces are also available

for conferences, functions and events, offering complete conference

and meeting packages to suit all budgets and requirements - from small

boardroom meetings for 5 to larger theatre style conferences of up to

VenuesConcert Hall

The main concert hall at Aberystwyth Arts Centre seats over

900 people. A flexible venue with retractable seating and seated

balconies, this is an adaptable space suitable for hosting conferences,

trade fairs and formal meals. This venue has also been used to host

live televised events such as Côr Cymru - a search for the best Choir

Theatre

Seating 312 people, our well-equiped theatre offers a comfortable

space for delegates, as well as good lighting and sound facilities.

Cinema

Our 125-seat cinema is a wonderful venue for conferences. This

space offers excellent AV facilities, including a state-of-the-art digital

high-definition 3D projector, 35mm projector and surround sound,

as well as internet connectivity.

VenuesRound Studio

Our studio theatre provides a smaller, more intimate environment.

Accommodating 80 in theatre style, or up to 100 people in the

round, this is the perfect venue for smaller conferences and

meetings, or as a breakout facility for larger events.

Rehearsal Studios

All six rehearsal studios, including the brand new Dance School

facilities make excellent meeting rooms and breakout spaces. From

boardroom to theatre style, these spaces can be adapted to suit

your needs.

Bars & Cafes

Our bar and cafe spaces are available for corporate events, either

as relaxed, informal meeting places or comfortable dining areas.

Food & DrinkTheatre Bar

Situated in the relaxed setting of the theatre foyer, the Theatre Bar

offers a light and comfortable place in which to spend some time.

The foyer is laid out with a range of sofas and chairs, is child friendly,

and there is also an outside seating area for when the weather is

fine.

Cafe

Aberystwyth Arts Centre’s award winning café offers a

mouthwatering selection of freshly made salads, hot meals and

snacks - all made in-house - plus a great selection of home-made

cakes! Conferences and functions of any size can be catered for, and

menus can be tailored to your exect requirements.

Piazza Cafe

The Piazza café offers beautiful views over Cardigan Bay and a

range of freshly made pizzas, rolls, bagels, wraps, toasted teacakes,

scrumptious home-made cakes, and speciality teas and coffees.

attendances for performing arts and events featuring local, national and

international work, 236,000 for exhibitions and over 100,000 for our

unique community arts and education programme. The centre has a

wide-ranging artistic programme, both producing and presenting, across all

art forms including drama, dance, music, visual arts, applied arts, film, new

media, and community arts and is recognised as a national centre for arts

In 2000 the Arts Centre completed a major £4.3 million redevelopment.

In 2009 it undertook an additional £1.75 million development which

added an artists and creative industries studios complex, and acts as the

base for a major artists in residence programme. This gives Aberystwyth

Arts Centre a range of facilities unrivalled throughout much of the UK.
