1. How to activate the module in admin area


Go to System > Manage AITOC

Modules, check the “Configurable

Products Pro” and click “Save

module settings” button

Configurable Products Pro tab

becomes available for configurable

products. For newly created

configurable products you need to

click “Save and Continue Edit”

button for the new tab to appear.

To generate new simple associated

products you need to check all the

required attributes options in the

table and click “Generate” button.

One check box click

allows to select all

the attribute options

at once.

Please follow the simple products quantity

recommendations based on the module settings that can be

found at System > Configuration > Aitoc modules settings >

Store Specific Settings > Configurable Products Pro tab


3. Simple associated products generation

Once you click “Generate” button

you are able to specify Weight,

Qty, Status, Visibility and Stock

Availability options before the

Products Generation.



Please give the script some time

for the required actions. You’ll be

able to see the notifications .

You’ll be able to continue the

process if the script hangs up

because of browser crash or

server time out. The data will

not be lost.



You will see the Products table

after the simple products are

generated. Do not forget to save

the main product to create the

simple products.

For each product configuration

you can see the stock qty and

you’re able to edit or delete the

simple product. The green ticks

shows the options of each

product. Red color means the product is not

configured properly. Yellow means

the product has the changes. No

color means no changes.


4. Product configuration

You can easily change the

simple product details right from

the table view once you click on

the “Edit” button against the

required product.


5. Simple products duplicates

The script will automatically

notify you about the duplicates

being detected. It can delete

them automatically or give you

an opportunity to edit them

manually.

with “X2” in the table in the

case you decide to edit them

manually.


6. Create new simple product

To create new simple product

for the configurable product

click “Create New” button

Specify all the options of new

simple product once the new

column appears


7. Simple associated products tab

You can find and manage all the

simple associated products under

the Associated Products tab now

To make Configurable Products Pro

and Products Matrix extensions

compatible, you should set the

following rewrites order

Configurable Product Pro is more powerful solution than the Product Matrix

extension and it will enable you to manage the simple associated products

created with Product Matrix.
