▷ 1) Insert the batteries according to +, - code.

Caution!) Please turn the MC Square off and open the cover following the direction of arrow when you pull the batteries out. You can use the MC Square Plus for about 10 hours with two 1.5V alkaline AAA batteries.

▷ P1 Program for Concentration – Improving Concentration

▪ Details : Relaxation and Preparing for Study and Relaxation (Using Time : 15 Min)▪ Purpose : It can be used when you want to improve your concentration quickly before you perform study or task.▪ Effectiveness : It helps you relieve your fatigue caused by tension, unrest, stress and the lack of sleep.▪ Posture : Use while keeping your eyes closed and comfortably sitting on the chair.

▪ How to Use : Use as possible as frequently. Use especially before coming to school or self-studying and after lunch. It is more effective if you use MC Square with the sound of nature after getting up in the morning.

Programs in MC Square

▷ P3 Program for Study – Increasing Learning Efficiency

▪ Details : Keeping concentration (Using Time : 60 Min)▪ Purpose : It can be used when you want to keep your concentration continuously for activities especially such as study that require long time concentration.▪ Effectiveness : It helps you improve learning efficiency and maintain concentration when self-studying.▪ Posture : Use while putting on the earphone only. (You don’t have to wear the optical goggle.)

▪ How to Use : Put on the earphone and turn down the volume as a comfortable background sound. Use with an easy mind like when listening to favorite music. You can set up the repetition mode to use program repeatedly twice or three times when you have to study more than 2 hours. It would be more effective to use P2 program in advance for rest when the study is long-time extended.

▷ P4 Program for Healthy Sleep – Inducing Sound and Restful Sleep

▪ Details : Inducing sound sleep (Using Time : 30 Min)▪ Purpose : It can be used when you can’t sleep well caused by stress or others.▪ Effectiveness : If you use this program before sleeping, you will feel easy and refreshed when you wake up in the morning.▪ Posture : Use while keeping your eyes closed and comfortably lying down on bed

▪ How to Use : Don’t use this program before studying, but use it everyday when you sleep.

▷ P2 Program for Relaxation – Recovery from Fatigue

▪ Details : Relaxation and Preparing for Study (Using Time : 15 Min)▪ Purpose : It can be used when you want to quickly recover from your exhaustion, jet lag and stress.▪ Effectiveness : It helps you relieve your stress and fatigue for short time .▪ Posture : Use while keeping your eyes closed and sitting on the chair during the run-up to the study.

▪ How to Use : When you feel extremely tired, it will be more effective if you take a further rest for 10 minutes after finishing the 15 Min program or try the program on more time. Using P1 program than P2 before studying is recommended for sleepy students. Using program with the sound of nature simultaneously is also more effective.

▷ When a power is on at the beginning, P1 concentration program would be selected if light comes in P1 indication area.▷ The program you used at the last time will be selected when you turn on a power next time.▷ Please keep your eyes closed when using the goggle.

▷ You can select different programs as P1~P4 by pressing the Program button lightly. (The light will be moved to each program you choose)

▷ Select a program you want by pressing Play/Stop button at once.▷ If you want to stop a program you are using, press Play/Stop button again.

3) Volume Control

▷ Fix the function selection lever to PROG location and adjust volume by function control button (∧UP/∨DOWN) ▷ Volume has 15 levels(0~15) and only possible to adjust while operating. Function

▷ Fix the function selection lever to LIGHT location and adjust brightness by function control button (∧UP/∨DOWN) ▷ The brightness of the ray glasses has 20 levels(0~20) and only possible to adjust while operating.

▷ Use this function when you need to repeat each program▷ From the resting state, press Play/Stop button firmly. Your chosen program will be repeated with melody sound.▷ When the repetition is set, the corresponding program LED is quickly blinked and it will turn back to normal at the last cycle of repetition.

7) Listening to the Sound of Nature Program

▷ Use MC Square tone and the nature sound which provides more effective relaxation together.▷ The nature sound is running while MC Square is only operating. ① Press the “NATUR” button for the sound of nature on the front face. ② It is possible to change the sound of Nature by using the selection button.

③ Fix the function selection lever to NATUR location and adjust volume by function control button (∧UP/∨DOWN). The Sound of Nature can be adjusted with 15 levels(0~15).

8) Using Additional Function

▪ HOLDIt has the function which prevents any error operation of main body while using MC Square.*In the case of HOLD ON (the condition which locks), button operation is not working even a power is on. And if you press any button, all indication areas for programs will be blinked reminding you it is locked.*You can turn on/off the power in HOLD ON condition.

▪ External Input Function▷ You can listen to different sources from TV or computer connecting with External Sound Terminal (AUX).▷ It can be used when power is on, but you can not use in power-management features.

▪ Beep (Melody Tone)▷ You will experience with various melody tones in each function you use.*We recommend you to use external sound terminal (AUX) only for such as language studying and so on. Even you can use external sound terminal without using MC Square function, power will be automatically turned off according to the time set up from power-management features.

9) Program Initialization Function

Each kind of adjustment and option of program will turn back to the original condition you purchase from the beginning.<Control Method>① When Power is on, change HOLD key to ON (Lock).② Play/Stop button → Nature Sound button → Play/Stop button → Nature Sound button → Program button③ After a while, initialization will be operated with starting melody tone.④ Please use MC square again after changing HOLD key to OFF (Unlock)

10) Listening to FM Radio

① RADIO ON/OFF

▷ Push the RADIO ON/OFF button when the power is on. You can listen to the radio using MC Square program.

※ The earphone functions as an antenna when you listen to the radio.

② Select Stations▷ Manual Selection : You can select the station in 0.1 MHz unit with short click the Tuning Up/Down button when the radio is turned on. ▷ Automatic Selection : MC Square PLUS can select stations automatically until the next channel comes out with your long click the Tuning Up/Down button when the radio is turned on.

※ It makes a signal when it arrives to the end of the range, then it restart from the end of the opposite side.

③ Adjusting the Volume▷ Fix the Function Selection Lever to the Radio, then adjust the volume with the Function Control Button.▷ You can adjust the volume between 0~15.

④ Adjusting the Level of Station Searching.There are two levels “High” and “Low” in searching station channels, and the MC Square PLUS is fixed on “High” when it is in an initialized state.The lower the searching level is, the more MC Square PLUS can receive stations, but it can be an overlapping or noisy channel.※ Low : Use when you can’t find the station channels well in a weak reception area. High : Use when you frequently receive noisy channels in a strong reception area.

<How to Adjust the Level>① Turn on the HOLD key when the power is on.② Click the each of the following buttons in turn within 2 seconds.Play/Stop(▶/■) button → Sound of Nature button → Play/Stop(▶/■) button → Sound of Nature button → Radio button.③ The LED of Program Mode Indicator will be turned on a little while.When in “High” : P1, P2 flicker simultaneouslyWhen in “Low” : P3, P4 flicker simultaneously
