Metal – Code of Practice (First Revision)
A scheme to show the fineness of the gold bar or
article, the purity of the precious metal content in
parts per 1000.
Example 999 parts per 1000 by weight is equivalent to
the conventional 24 carat gold standard. The alloy
must be at least 999 parts per 1000 to be marked as
such. There is no negative tolerance.

have nano-elements in the range of 1 to 100 nm(nanometer)
• NANOVerified is the mark that will be awarded upon
successful completion of NANOVerify program
• The mark is applied on finish products or smallest packaging
unit to signify it has been verified and characterized to
contain nanomaterials.
