Connect is perfect for the top talent of

your business. Leaders who are tipped to

be the next board directors.

They will be people with the desire to explore and adapt their leadership styles in times of profound change. They will already have a forum to put into practice what they learn – their “own train set” as a Connect Alumnus put it.

Each year, the Connect cohort is diverse and consists of 90 leaders drawn from large corporates, private businesses, charities, social enterprises and the public sector.

That’s deliberate. We can learn so much from leaders in other sectors and industries. An engineer, a banker, a journalist and a social entrepreneur will react differently to new stimulus and content. Through that difference, everyone’s learning will be enriched.

Who is Connect for?

Landing the lessons: Our learning structure

Two bespoke in-house workshops

Help participants prepare, leverage and embed the lessons.

The sponsor role

A key individual within your organisation who chooses who goes on the programme and why. They will agree what are the key outputs for your organisation, and support your participants during Connect. They also attend the programme.

Extensive resources

Articles, videos and a private digital platform help participants connect and share the lessons learnt.

Wavelength 9 framework

High performing organisations share certain characteristics. The Wavelength 9 framework distils these into a powerful collection of stories Connect participants can share with colleagues.

Tangible structures and a robust

pedagogy combine to ensure the maximum ROI. We don’t do pointless inspiration” Jessica Stack, Connect Director

The learning – and teaching – style of Connect has remarkable similarities in approach to the respected educational pedagogy from Italy, Reggio Emilia.

Landing the lessons: Our learning pedagogy

Key elements include:

Reciprocity of learning

The Wavelength team and participants collaborate to ask questions, seek value, and find transferable lessons.

Multiplicity

Themes are explored through different stories bringing a holistic understanding of the many and varied ways an individual or organisation can address challenges.

Amplification of learning

We emphasise the importance engaging the wider community in what has been learnt to drive maximum value and impact.

The environment as the third teacher

We harness the power of the environment to signal different types of conversations and learning, and to stimulate and inspire.
