2019 IMAGING SECTOR FIGURES
For us as a new start-up company, attending the LASER show far exceeded our expectations. It was an honor to receive the Innovation Award at the show, but the most valuable thing for us was the strong engagement with many international vision and photonics professionals at the exhibition.

Comprehensive range of conferences on Optical Metrology and ImagingIn 2019, three conferences on Optical Metrology and Imaging were held within the framework of the World of Photonics Congress:
The Optical Metrology conference, organized by SPIE Europe, brought together scientists and engineers to discuss the latest research findings in the areas of measurement systems, modeling, videometry, inspection and industrial image processing.
The Digital Optical Technologies conference focused on the latest optical technology such as 3D sensors, immersive multimedia, displays, light sources and imaging systems. This conference was organized by SPIE as well.
The Imaging and Applied Optics Conference, organized by OSA, provided an overview of the latest developments in imaging and applied optical sciences.
Almost 940 visitors attended the lectures of these three conferences in 2019.
As the industry’s leading scientific platform, the World of Photonics Congress offers extensive insights into the world of photonics while acting as an interfacebetween theory and practice. For 63% of all exhibitors at the fair, congress participants are an important target group, and 58% stated that they mainly want to address visitors from science and research with their exhibits.
Approx. 4,675 participants More than 3,635 lectures and poster sessions 97% positive visitor ratings
