For us as a new start-up company, attending the LASER show far exceeded our expectations. It was an honor to receive the Innovation Award at the show, but the most valuable thing for us was the strong engagement with many international vision and photonics professionals at the exhibition.

Supporting program

world-of-photonics.com/program

The supporting program of the world’s leading trade fair LASER World of PHOTONICS distinguishes itself through its consistent practice orientation and received 95% positive visitor ratings in 2019. In focus: Photonics 4.0 in the Imaging area with its own exhibition area and accompanying events. A special focus of the trade fair will be image processing. There will be practice-oriented series of lectures and a separate exhibition segment on image processing with a “Machine Vision Pavilion.”

The “Machine Vision Pavilion” is a special highlight in the Imaging exhibition sector. Whether it comes to systems or innovative suppliersolutions: The centrally located joint exhibition stand in Hall A2 is an ideal presentation alternative for your products and applicationsin the field of industrial image processing. Among other things, it is a concentrated gathering of the target group for production engineering.

Participation includes: Stand space Stand setup Furnishings Electrical connection incl. consumption Stand cleaning Security

Application PanelsIn 2019, these presentations saw some 2,050 attendees learning about the latest industrial applications, challenges and solution approaches in photonics.

Comprehensive range of conferences on Optical Metrology and ImagingIn 2019, three conferences on Optical Metrology and Imaging were held within the framework of the World of Photonics Congress:

The Optical Metrology conference, organized by SPIE Europe, brought together scientists and engineers to discuss the latest research findings in the areas of measurement systems, modeling, videometry, inspection and industrial image processing.

The Digital Optical Technologies conference focused on the latest optical technology such as 3D sensors, immersive multimedia, displays, light sources and imaging systems. This conference was organized by SPIE as well.

The Imaging and Applied Optics Conference, organized by OSA, provided an overview of the latest developments in imaging and applied optical sciences.

Almost 940 visitors attended the lectures of these three conferences in 2019.

As the industry’s leading scientific platform, the World of Photonics Congress offers extensive insights into the world of photonics while acting as an interfacebetween theory and practice. For 63% of all exhibitors at the fair, congress participants are an important target group, and 58% stated that they mainly want to address visitors from science and research with their exhibits.

Approx. 4,675 participants More than 3,635 lectures and poster sessions 97% positive visitor ratings
