About the Cover: Jim Wilson’s fascination with animals has influenced many aspects of his life including his career choice. A professional wildlife artist for over thirty five years, Jim spends many hours seeking out and researching his subjects for his detailed pen and ink drawings. He relies on reference material gathered from field work, museums, zoos, veterinary hospitals and rehabilitation facilities. His camera is a constant companion, providing a permanent collection of reference photos. Jim’s work has been featured in a variety of NAVC material since 1992.
