Cultural Awareness Week ►January 9-15, 2012 The Multicultural Ministries Department will host a variety of activities throughout the week at the Cen- tral Territorial Headquarters, including the Wednes- day chapel service at 9:30 AM and the monthly luncheon on Thursday at 12 noon.. Our guest facilita- tor is Patty Lane, Director of the Office of Intercul- tural Initiatives of the Baptist General Convention of Texas and the author of “A Beginner’s Guide to Crossing Cultures.” Patty is known for offering insights on cultural differ- ences, and helping individuals to understand their own culture and a framework for understanding oth- ers. Participants will learn skills to develop and nur- ture cross-cultural relationships in the church, com- munity, and other areas of life.
