Wall unit - after
A section of the long wall which spans the depth of the town house was painted the contrasting colour and the artwork was hung gallery style as a focal point and to balance the wall unit on the opposite wall.
The eight-seater dining table was placed adjacent to the wall which helps to define the dining area.
Floating shelves were installed for the photo gallery.
It’s always a good idea to hang a mirror opposite a window. A quick easy way to gain light and a sense of space, as well as bringing the outside in.
The raised curtain rails and lengthened curtains elongated the walls and made the space feel roomier.
Remember the pine wall units?
One of the sections was painted using the same contrasting colour. A door was added to enclose the top shelf space. It has a second life now, and is used as a wet bar when the home owners have friends and family over.
