Although best known for their on-the-ground work with farmers and ranchers, districts also provide technical information and assistance in developed and developing areas. This session will describe their structure, give examples of their work in urban and community forestry, and share how you can benefit from their technical expertise.

The Piedmont Ecoregion is a hilly, transitional ecoregion between the flatter areas near the Atlantic coast and the mountainous Appalachian ecoregions. (USGS Map)
