ALL CONSTRUCTION JOINTS SHALL BE SAWN, CLEANED OF DEBRIS, BLOWN DRY AND IMMEDIATELY SEALED PER N.C.T.C.O.G. SPECIFICATIONS. 27. PROVIDE EXPANSION JOINTS WITHOUT DOWELS BETWEEN PAVEMENT AND BUILDING. 28. THICKENED EDGES ARE REQUIRED AT ALL CONNECTIONS TO EXISTING PAVEMENT, REFER TO KEYWAY AND THICKENED EDGE DETAILS. 29. CONTRACTOR SHALL COORDINATE EFFORT FOR RELOCATING LIGHT AND POWER POLES. THE COST ASSOCIATED WITH THE RELOCATION SHALL BE PAID BY CONTRACTOR. 30. BUILDING FOOTPRINTS SHOWN ARE AS PROVIDED BY ARCHITECT. ALL BUILDING CORNER COORDINATES AND DIMENSIONS RELY ON THE ACCURACY OF THE ARCHITECTS ELECTRONIC FILE. ACCESSIBLE FACILITIES SHALL BE CONSTRUCTED TO STRICT TOLERANCES REGARDING MAXIMUM CROSS AND LONGITUDINAL SLOPES. AREAS WHICH EXCEED MAXIMUM SLOPES SHALL BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED AS NECESSARY. 10. ALL SPOT GRADES REFLECT TOP OF PAVEMENT (GUTTER) ELEVATIONS, UNLESS OTHERWISE NOTED. 11. ALL VEGETATION AND TOPSOIL CONTAINING ORGANIC MATERIAL SHALL BE CLEARED AND GRUBBED AT THE BEGINNING OF EARTHWORK CONSTRUCTION. 12. SELECT FILL OR ONSITE MATERIALS SHALL BE PLACED IN SIX(6) TO EIGHT(8)-INCH LOOSE LIFTS AND COMPACTED TO THE MOISTURE CONTENTS BETWEEN OPTIMUM AND WITHIN THREE PERCENTAGE POINTS ABOVE OPTIMUM. EACH LIFT SHOULD BE COMPACTED TO BETWEEN 95 AND 100 PERCENT OF THE MAXIMUM DRY DENSITY AS IN ASTM D 698. 13. FIELD DENSITY TESTS SHOULD BE TAKEN AT THE RATE OF ONE TEST PER EVERY 2,500 SQUARE FEET PER LIFT IN THE AREA OF ALL COMPACTED FILL. SLIGHT ANGLE TOWARD THE ANTICIPATED RUNOFF SOURCE.

2. THE TOE OF THE SILT FENCE SHALL BE TRENCHED IN WITH A SPADE OR

MECHANICAL TRENCHER, SO THAT THE DOWN SLOPE FACE OF THE TRENCH

IS FLAT AND PERPENDICULAR TO THE LINE OF FLOW.

3. THE TRENCH SHOULD BE A MINIMUM OF SIX INCHES DEEP AND SIX INCHES

WIDE TO ALLOW FOR THE SILT FENCE TO BE LAID IN THE GROUND AND

BACKFILLED.

4. SILT FENCE SHOULD BE SECURELY FASTENED TO EACH SUPPORT POST.

5. INSPECTION SHALL BE FREQUENT AND REPAIR OR REPLACEMENT SHALL BE

MADE PROMPTLY AS NEEDED.

6. SILT FENCE SHALL BE REMOVED WHEN IT HAS SERVED IS USEFULNESS, SO

AS NOT TO BLOCK OR IMPEDE STORM FLOW OR DRAINAGE.

7. SEDIMENT TRAPPED BY THIS PRACTICE SHALL BE DISPOSED OF IN AN

APPROVED SITE IN A MANNER THAT WILL NOT CONTRIBUTE TO ADDITIONAL

SILTATION.

8. ACCUMULATED SILT SHALL BE REMOVED WHEN IT REACHES A DEPTH OF

SIX INCHES AND DISPOSED OF IN AN APPROVED SPOIL SITE OR AS IN No. 7

ABOVE.

9. FILTER FABRIC IS TO BE MIRAFI 100X OR APPROVED EQUAL.

10.CONTRACTOR TO REMOVE SILT FENCE UPON COMPLETION OF PROJECT.

DAMAGED AREAS TO BE REPAIRED INCLUDING RE-GRADING AND

RE-GRASSING AS NECESSARY.

11. ALL EROSION CONTROL DEVICES AND REQUIREMENTS TO BE IN

ACCORDANCE WITH NCTCOG BMP EROSION CONTROL MANUAL AND PLANS

AND SPECIFICATIONS.

12. UNLESS APPROVED BY OWNER, EROSION CONTROL FENCING SHALL BE

USED IN AREAS WITH NO TREES ONLY.
