Here at Pentland Primary School we offer a range of support and extension programs.

Pentland Primary School is small enough where all teachers know all students. Teachers know students strengths and their opportunities for development.

Classroom learning is complimented by a range of excursions and incursions that are based on students needs.

Families are an important part of the education journey. We believe in developing respectful relationships with parents and include them in their child’s learning journey.

During your child’s pathway to Foundation year in 2020, we will be holding a parent information session on Wednesday the 12th

of June at 6pm in our school Library.

During this session we will talk about our schools facilities, programs and general running of Pentland Primary School.

Throughout Terms 3 and 4 a transition program is offered to all enrolled 2020 Foundation children. This will consist of classroom based sessions and an opportunity to familiarise themselves with the school and their future class mates. Children enrolled at Pentland will be advised of the details before Term 3.

Foundation students will have a Grade 6 Buddy. The role of our buddies is to guide Foundation students, particularly in their first 2 weeks of school to ensure they feel safe and secure in the classroom and the playground. They will continue to engage in experiences together and will develop a strong relationship with their buddy that will last throughout the year.
