Dear Mr. Detamore:
The two samples you br0ught in on June 6, 1961, from the Fisher property in Graham County, Arizona, a.ssayed as follows:
High Grade Lov Grade
3.351> Capper 3.7a{o "
The material we called low grade has more copper in it than I expected. This material could probably be shipped to the Smelter if the mining cnsts were low.
We will get in touch with you later.

Location: Glmiles east of Klondyke
Owner: -·\;,1. H. Detamore et al, 4225 N. 47th Drive, Phoenix (relocated)
Original Owner: 'IL. Fisher (nm,r deceased) - Located in 1908
Property: S unpatented claims
Work: Three tunnels along a wash on the same elevation.
1. The East tunnel is 350 feet long. 2. The Hiddle tunnel is 60-65 feet long. 3. The West tunnel is 40 feet long.
The tunnels all show leachable are in certain zones. A pit, sunk recently, at an eleva tion of 40 feet belmv the hill crest disclosed sulphides.
Future plans: It Klondyke to Port leaching the 101rJ crusher, screens to Inspiration.
is planned to construct about 3 miles of mine road to the area from the Thomas road. They also plan to build redtvood vats in succession for grade oxidized ores. These vats will be supplemented by a small and water control pumps. 1ne higher, or sorted ore, will be snipped
Geology: The area consists of monzonite which has been shattered and sheared in an E-W direction. 6 or 7 veins \in the shear zones) crisscross in a stockwork. These generally strike E"'~i and dip 60-70 degrees to the north. The oridized copper minerals are chrysocolla, melaconite, cuprite and limonite, all of which are disseminated in the shears and fault gouges. The shear walls are more or less indefinite but the mineral zones are fairly clearly outlined. The sulphides appear from specimens to be disseminated in chrysocolla stained silicified zones in the monzonite. Quartz is not prevalent, but is locally concentrated as blebs and small areas. The sulphides exhibit some alteration to limonite in halos around the sulphide grains. The chalcopyrite is tarnished and pitted, but s'rlo1;ved in the pit at a sh~rt distance from the surface. The leach ore runs at'out 62~t sili~a and up to 31b copper. The shipping are is about 7-10 percent. The ore zones range between 2-8 feet \~de, the average being 4 feet.
The haul to .fort Thomas is about 21 miles o

Subject: Interview with W. H. Detamore.
Approx. location: N.E. cor. Sect. 7, T. 6 S., R. 21 E., about 3 mi. west of Holladay Ranch and Black Rock.
Rugged country - long haul - about 21 (7) miles to R.R.
Owner: - ~V. H. Detamore - reports several veins in a 20 ft. wide zone. The veins are said to run 3 to 4 per cent copper (chrysocolla and some chalcopyrite).
The better rock from the dump has assayed 2.25% Cu. An independent sample 4 ft. across a vein ran 0.61%. Granite wall rock ran 0.08% (independent sample). A Detamore sample ran 5.3%. An independent sample ran 1 plus % Cu, 0.6 oz. Ag, 0.02 oz. Au.
Detamore plans to build l~ miles of road and to batch leach 4 or 5 tons per day in redwood vats. Urged testing by Roseveare and Detamore plans to send him 100 lbs.
