Come Worship, Grow and Serve With Us! June 2017

Let us help you get connected and stay connected to

THE Vine through The Vine !

Hey, Folks!

On Sunday, May 7, I preached on several different ways that we can share

our faith in Jesus Christ. I mentioned that it's good to have at least a few Bible

verses committed to memory since the Word is "living and active" and often

really helps in getting a person's attention. Here's a quick list of seven "classic"

verses that point people toward the necessity of faith in Christ:

* John 14:6 - "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the

Father except through me."

* John 3:16 - "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son,

that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

* John 3:17 - "For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the

world, but to save the world through him."

* John 11:25 - "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will

live, even though he dies."

* Romans 6:23 - "For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal

life in Christ Jesus our Lord."

* Romans 10:9 - "That if you confess with your mouth, ' Jesus is Lord,' and

believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved."

* Romans 8:1 - "Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in

Christ Jesus."

Try learning one of these each week, while continuing to go over the ones

you already know so that you don't forget them. Once you've got the verses

firmly in your mind, great! But the MAIN THING is to USE 'EM as you love

people enough to let them know the TRUTH about Jesus Christ! Let's all win

some souls for the Lord!

Blessings,

Pastor Dave
