Lunch

• We eat at 10:15. Have a snack ready at home.

• Send lunch money in an envelope marked with your child’s name and “lunch money”

• Add money to your child’s account online through myccs

• Join us- check in at office and meet your child in the lunchroom. Email me your order if you want a school lunch. Snacks only

through Dec.

Playground

• We go outside if the temperature is above 20 degrees. Brrrrr

• Send a jacket, gloves, hats, etc. daily in the fall/winter JUST IN CASE.

Weather Delay

• Automated call/text alert system.

• If 2 hour delay, school will begin at 10:05.

• We will still eat lunch at 10:15

Birthdays and Holidays

• Per school handbook – no treats or invitations can be sent to school.

Medication

• Cannot be sent in with child.

• MUST be brought in by parent and given directly to school nurse.

“Go/ OWL” Folder

• Check folder and empty contents daily

• Send back to school each

morning

• Behavior sheet on back

Library Books

• Our library day is Tuesday. Students will check out books and they will be due back the following Wednesday.

• Remind them to get the books out of their backpack.

Book Orders

• Catalogs full of discount books• Come home once a month• Order online. I will send out

directions via email.

Oliver the Owl

• Class “pet”

• Goes home with 1 student each weekend.

• Log your adventures in Oliver’s journal with words and photos: send back Monday

Volunteering/Donations

• MUST have a criminal background check on file. Go to MyCCS or stop by the office

• I will keep you informed as to when we are ready to have volunteers in the classroom

• Whole class incentive

• Earn classroom parties when full

Leadership Tickets

• Can earn from ANYONE in the school for good behavior

• Whole school collects them to earn school wide celebrations.

Behavior Chart

• Students move up and down the chart throughout the day.

• Ending color at pack-up time is recorded on calendar in “OWL” folder.

• Earn colored beads for green or above.

Transportation Change Procedure• MUST be made online before 1:30 pm on day of

change

• Use PTE transportation widget on left side of your MyCCS account

• Enter date and change information carefully and be as detailed as possible (include names or bus number)

• You can make entries in advance.

• TO change an entry you have to make a new entry and in the notes section indicate that it supersedes the previous entry.
