Universal service obligation fund /USOF/

The concept of USOF is introduced in the Communications Law in 2001

USOF has been founded in 2006 under the law on Government special funds & resolution of GoM

USOF is composed from Grants & donations Loans & Credits 2% Levy from license holders

USOF shall be accumulated and disbursed with purpose of construction of new networks, expansion and renovation of existing network, providing necessary telecommunications service to remote areas and populations without access
