•The first change I decided to make was to get rid of the word ‘page’ in front of the numbers because looking in current music magazines I saw that none of them had the word ‘page’ in front of the numbers.•The second change I made was to move the title ‘Contents…’ further into the top corner so that there would be more space for the rest of the information on the page.•The third change I made was to add more information in the box about what you could win so that it informed the readers more so that they knew where to go to have a chance of winning a fantastic prize.

•The next change I decided to make was to add a brief explanation underneath the page numbers so that it informs the reader of what they can expect from that page.•I also put the explanation in bold and in italics so that it was different to the page titles and it makes the reader carry on reading because the writing below stands out against the normal writing of the titles.

•The next change I made was to make the font size smaller so that you would be able to fit more information on the page is the text was smaller.

•The next change I decided to do was to get rid of the red background because when it printed out it came out as a pinky/red colour which doesn’t appeal to the male gender so they wouldn’t buy the magazine because they would think that the magazine is more aimed at the female gender rather than both. Also looking at current music magazines, they either have a white background or the whole page is covered.

•The next changes I made were to the ‘Win...’ and ‘On Tour...’ boxes by doing the same thing as before by making the font smaller and adding more information in bold and italics underneath the page headings.

•I then made a new text box and filled it with the information from the ‘Reviews...’ section because I saw that there were massive gaps between each page heading but I thought the box looked better with the writing closer together.

•Then I carried on doing the same thing as before with the ‘Whats Hot..’ box and the ‘Gigs...’ and the ‘New..’ by making the font smaller and adding in page information underneath the appropriate headings. Also I re-done the ‘Whats Hot...’ title because I realised that it was a slightly lighter grey colour than the rest of the other headings.

•Once all the boxes were complete, I then started to re-arrange them on the page so that they gave the best affect on the reader and also that it was in page order to make reading a bit easier. •Also I made the main picture bigger and added a number ’15’ so that readers could relate the number to the appropriate page heading so it would make the reader more likely to read the main article if then can see a picture beforehand.

•Finally in the top right hand corner, I added a small text box containing the date of issue (01/12/2010) and the issue number (83) and the website (www.sound.com) to allow people another way of looking at all the music news.•Also I made the decision not to include the picture of the iPod and the corresponding information because it would mean that the other boxes on the page would be too spaced together and made it more complicated to read.
